Well set out not cramped and very relaxed and chilled atmosphere all ways visit for breakfast or dinner and a few drinks whole watching the world go by one of the best places in st ives

We had a beautiful meal here, we returned a second night nice chilled atmosphere

We had 2 meals at the Balcony kitchen as we visited St Ives 16 -20th April. We had a burger on Monday and my partner had scrambled eggs with bacon,i had a bacon bun on Friday morning before we left and we both thought it was the best breakfast we've had for ages! Food is lovely and very good service too. Nice views over the beach. Will be back.

Visited St. Ives with the fiance and we decided to try somewhere new for breakfast...and it didn't dissapoint!! So much food I couldn't eat it all. I had the veggie and my other half had the meaty one, both amazing. Will definitely visit again when near by, even told my parents to visit when they are visiting next week ��

Price was good for food and drink Food was amazing especially the breakfast hot chocolate was amazing all in all what a great place to eat :) highly recommended :)

Love the new pizza's, onion rings are absolutely lovely as is the coffee and the sticky toffee pudding (especially if you get it with sea salt caramel ice cream instead of vanilla). The food is very reasonably priced and arrives quickly. Still mourn the loss of the signature Rosemary and Sea Salt fries though. The staff team are super friendly and always smiling. I'd recommend this place to young, old, those with and without dogs and especially sports fans as there are three large screen tv's showing Sky Sports. During the day the screens are usually muted and there are chilled tunes. Oh and the views of St Ives harbour from the floor to ceiling windows are always stunning.

Had a week in St Ives mid May and went to the Balcony Bar quite a few times.

Good food & beer at decent prices compared to other places on the Harbour.

Shows all the main sporting events on big screens

Never met a member of staff who was not polite and friendly.

Hopefully will be going back later in the year.

Great place to eat good atmosphere as well with lovely views of the harbour.

Great food, only one negative and that's the plate size. We had a burger and two sides to share. I personally prefer not to have a tea plate size tin dish for burger, fries and slaw. Lovely food, friendly staff and fantastic view.

Great food and service every time we visit,

First time we've been there and we was both very pleased with our food and service and will be returning again in the near future. We always browse the menu and then go elsewhere but we have been missing out by over looking this place. I had the American burger (I always have burger) and this was twice as good as hubbox a few weeks ago and my partner had chilli nachos and again she had the same in Hub a few weeks ago and these were a lot better here. Will be visiting again for sure (y)

A lovely place for a bite to eat, with fantastic views over the harbour. A bonus is you won’t get attacked by seagulls

Ate there last night with the kids, food was good and good atmosphere and place to take the kids.

Sports bar, not bar and kitchen as advertised.

Football turned up to ridiculous volume, including adverts! Ruined possibility of holding a conversation over a meal, and when requested to turn it down was told it’s a sports bar I should have known better. Well there’s no advertising that it’s a sports bar.

The owner is also obviously very generous, paying 4 staff just to sit at the end of the bar and watch the football.

My husband, two boys and I went to The Balcony yesterday but after waiting for an hour for our food to arrive we left. Thankfully we got a full refund. However, this was not a great place to go with kids. The music was too loud and it was cold. You would have thought the staff (of which there was many) would have realised that as most of the customers were wearing their coats inside that it was cold. It also amazes me that having ordered at the bar and been given a table sign that the staff had not received our food after 20 minutes of ordering. Oh no they were too busy serving their friends or themselves. Can't comment on the meal because we could not wait any longer as our parking ticket was about to expire. Not a good end to our holiday in St Ives.
