Calling all improvers looking to advance their ascension abilities! We are running improvers sessions today and tomorrow from 6:30pm. Joining the session costs nothing extra, just your normal entry! It's informal, self-service and weekly (tues & weds), you don't even need to book 🧗‍♀️😁👌

The power is back online 🙂

As some of you may well be aware, our building has lost 1 3rd of the electricity which includes the lighting in the main room. We’ve rigged up lighting for a temporary fix but please be aware it’s darker than usual in the centre at the moment, but we remain open. We’re working to get it back up and running as soon as possible.

Round 2 of our Winter bouldering league is well under way! This is Airlie cruising one of the harder blocs.
Enter now at reception, you have until the 3rd of December to complete as many problems as you can.

climbed here on the hottest day off the year so far but with there big fans felt cool,a bit hot in the cave section but bearable.All the roots are set to a good standard and grading is consistent.The staff are very friendly and helpful,very clean compared to some walls.You must try their coffee best of all the climbing centres I have been too and that's a lot over the years.I would like to wish the ballroom all the best and hopefully me and my friends will see you again.

What a great find, brilliant venue and super clean, the staff were amazing with the kids and so were fellow climbers everyone spurs each other on, will definitely go back again. Thanks for a great time - 5 stars from me.

We took our Cub pack here tonight and they were amazing. The 3 instructors we had were so enthusiastic and friendly and all the cubs came away having had a great time and all having a great sense of accomplishment. We will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of going. Couldnt thank the instructors enough for all they did to help all our cubs improve as climbers and for giving them a brilliant time

Very reasonably priced and love the fact that it’s not time limited and you can go out and come back in! Would be nice if there was a few instructors around giving beginners guidance but will definitely be back

Very nice problems to climb, powerful, technical, nice staff. It's a little bit small but it's a good place for bouldering.

This is an absolutely fantastic climbing wall! The staff are super nice and helpful and there's so many routes and challenges try! I would be here every day if I could!

Really welcoming for people new to climbing. Staff were friendly and helpful and the induction was very clear. I look forward to going again. 1 hour in I was doing 14 foot dynos and my toes grew biceps. Managed to travel all the way home afterwards without touching the floor. Highly recommended, and great to find something new to do in Cov city centre!

Really like this place - friendly staff, good location, surprisingly (given they're not a cafe) good coffee. Oh, and a good mix of routes which regularly get changed up, and a good crowd of regulars who are often willing to give pointers!

Really good facilities, friendly atmosphere, lots of beginners routes as well, makes it suitable for every level. It's a great place! :)

My son and i went for an induction last night and we both absolutely loved it.. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and enthusiastic about what they do.

We both wanted to go back tonight but due to aching muscles will have to wait until tomorrow:-)..I think we have both found out new fun obsession.

Loved this place. Went this week for the first time and it won’t be the last.

It's always hard trying to find something local and something for a VERY active 11 year old and 4 1/2 year old to do together.

This place is amazing the staff are super friendly and will to chat and be as helpful as possible. TAKE THE PLUNGE.....you won't regret it and no you don't all have to climb I can't stand on a chair without freaking out so a coffee and a good book for me while the other half and the kids climb their hearts out.

Having started bouldering this year I now usually go to Ballroom at least once a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful, it has good facilities (changing room, toilet, shower) and the walls are changed on a regular basis to keep things interesting. I really recommend people go down and try it!

Great venue with really friendly and knowledgeable staff. A great place for starters and more advanced climbers. Would love to see a small cafe that sold sandwiches and see some sort of online group for climbers to chat and arrange sessions. Thoroughly recommend!

Great little place in the centre of Coventry, really friendly staff and good variety of problems to work on. Couple of nice overhangs and a traverse wall upstairs. Quite compact centre and was quite busy but still great access to a good variety of routes for some easy climbs and some harder. Will be back for sure :)

Great bouldering facility, brilliant staff and an amazing atmosphere. I've become addicted to the sport since ballroom opened as it's in a prime location that's easy to get too. Great problems for all skills levels and there's always help available to anybody who wants it. Great place for newcomers and people who already climb, can't recommend enough.

First visit today, the atmosphere was lovely. All staff were really friendly and helpful. Great selection of different climbing holds, so problems don't all feel the same just because they're in the same grade range. The safety matting is kind on the joints, too. And one thing worth noting - it was nice and tidy.

First core exercise class tonight with Edu, well put together and man will I know about it tomorrow, bring on the next!! Couldn’t recommend the whole ballroom setup enough, it’s a friendly, social environment and the regular problem changes keep the challenges rolling!

Fantastic and helpful staff, amazing facilities a really great place to try something new and meet like minded people. Really easy to register and a good intro to lots of equipment and a little cafe space can’t wait to go Again!
