fantastic pub. we went around 3pm on thursday 28th december. was a little busy with two members of staff serving considering that onlt had to wait 5 mins before being served by the lovely lady. we ordered half a pint of home brew (only pub left in liverpool to brew on site so had to try it out.) they have a huge list of different gins and also a notice board with strengths and names of home brew ale. we got table and seats pretty quickly looking out of the window. we ordered a local pan of scouse and chips. quick service lovely food fab portion size. (a little salty for me but thats my personal preference). although the pub was busy it was very pleasent and not very loud. brilliant for a nice pint and pub grub. would defo recomend and we will be returning. thank you for the pleasent experience x. wishing you all happy new year x

Only came to find this pub yesterday (staying in the Ibis) a brill find ! As a Guinness drinker 10/10. Lovely and warm place and a very nice bar maid. Will be going there again when I am in the capital of north Wales !

Only came across this pub by chance as we were going to see the script at the arena ,we went in for a warm as we saw the fire from the window , the pub had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly . Wile will definitely be going back

A great selection of cask ales and conoiseur gins. Will make it a regular haunt.

Nice traditional Dockers pub, unlike so many others, saved from the bulldozer through fortunate proximity to some new dockside homes and consequently a new clientele.

Looks to do well with a good range of beers and a jazz music scene. When I was there, there was some building work taking place nearby. Interior is a comfortable relaxed shabby chic design but the bogs could do with a bit of work... doors, lighting, fixtures etc. Nice staff.

The big guy with the beard has had a very successful charisma bypass, and is totally useless and needs completely re-training or sacked, spoils the place!

Great history in a great location, close to Albert Dock, JuryŌĆÖs and the Hampton. Only pub in Liverpool that brews itŌĆÖs own beer. Cosy with good atmosphere.

First time back for many years. Sadly the brewery in the cellar has now gone but the beers we tried from local craft brewers were all good. Watch out for the steep stairs to the WCŌĆÖs. My mate Wil fell down the lot. Ouch!!! Finished his beer though.

Beer brilliant, staff fine but we apparently 'upset' chef as we ordered meals for 8 all at the same time. As these included 6 ciabatta rolls , one scouse and one pie couldn't understand why it took nearly an hour for all the meals to arrive. She also 'ran 'out of coleslaw' to be perfectly honest I don't think the pub had any in the first place.

Use to be great, lovely pint and great selection, went yesterday, husband had a pint if dizzy blonde, tasted off, upset stomach most of the evening, won't be going back again which is a shame as it's a regular of ours in the winter. Also barmaid (lovely girl) terrible barmaid, stopped serving us twice to answer the phone? No short glasses for my drink so served it to me in a pint glass
