Came here for a spa day and it doesn't disappoint for the price. Lovely massage and access to a good gym, sauna, steam rooms and pool. The only downside is the pool size and constant classes going on meaning limited access.

I visited this Spa a few months ago with my sister and was hugely disappointed. Paid £100 for a relaxing day however turned into an absolute nightmare. It's more like a run down leisure centre with locals coming in and out. Upon entry we were given a small bag with towel and robe so we headed towards the pool area which was surrounded by middle aged men that just stared as we were the only females there. Felt very uncomfortable and intimidating. So we decided to shower only to find no shampoo or soap in the shower areas. When we asked for some at reception were told they no longer supply these items as they constantly get stolen by users of the shower. They should have at least provided samples in our bags!! Could not get hold of any soap whatsoever. Couldn't wait for the day to end. The only good thing was the massage at the end. Would never go back even if it was offered for free. What a shame Duncan Bannatyne.

Not a big fan of Spas, but this one is amazing.

Good facilities and staff

I go here pretty much every day. It is in desperate need of renovation as the whole place is a bit run down. However it offers the things I want it to so if you're able to overlook the aesthetics you'll be fine.

I purchased a 2 for 1 spa day package for me and a friend which consisted of a 25 minute back massage, 15 minute scalp massage and use of the spas facilities. We arrived a few hours before our treatments hoping to have a relaxing swim and to use the facilities like advertised and like we have in other spas. However we both found the Bannatyne Spa to be rather different as it had the feel of a local leisure centre rather than a relaxing spa, other spas we have visited we've been able to use relaxation rooms or been able to go for a swim/jacuzzi in a quiet pool. Yet when we went to the pool at the Bannatyne Spa we found an aqua aerobics class being held which wasn't what we had in mind when we came for a relaxing spa day, that mixed with users of the gym facilities etc coming in and out it wasn't particularly relaxing. Although our full body massages were lovely and I would highly recommend them, we did not think they were worth the almost £100 I spent on the day. I was highly disappointed and I will not be returning as the prices were too high for the atmosphere and the facilities that we experienced were of a low standard and not what I would class as a high standard relaxing spa day.

Can not rate highly enough!!!! Had such a lovely morning. A Swedish back neck and shoulders massage, followed by a facial. Loved it. Loved it. Loved it, both my friend and me can not thank the staff enough, so lovely and helpful. Will definitely be going back!!!!!!!
