Sad day today as it’s our Casey’s last shift!!! He was with us from day one when we opened ‘the bar next door’ and we can’t thank him enough for all his help and support. It goes without saying we’re all going to miss him very much!!!

Went here with my boyfriend for some birthday drinks last Sunday. We loved it! Gorgeous selection of wines, nice decor and a really friendly atmosphere, we'd both really recommend it :-) Just near the station too, so it's perfect for a first drink if you're off to Liverpool or Manchester :-) x
The best cocktails by far...Ryan and the crew are fab mixologists and I like the bar next door so much I had to go Friday and Saturday this weekend! The music is slightly too loud but the boys will turn it down if you ask so all good.So lucky that it's located locally in Rainhill helps the girls have a cheeky early Sat evening cocktail while the boys sort tea!!
So lovely to have somewhere that does cocktails near to home, the cocktails I had were excellent and the bar it's self is great. Not a criticism at all just me getting old before my time I thought the music was slightly too loud to have a conversation with friends without having to shout to be heard but I really enjoyed it and would definitely go there again.

Lovely place. Some interesting drinks. Some a bit on the sweet side for me but that's just my taste. Lovely decor and a nice mix of ages. Nice to go out and not feel old

Had a lovely night in this cute bar. Thank goodness somewhere nice to go for a drink locally with great music (soul)to compliment the night. Lovely G&T's & Prosecco.
They specialise in cocktails & if I had one criticism it's that they need more bar staff on busy nights as some drinks are taking longer to make. The drinks prices are higher, but they serve a higher quality product. All in all had a lovely night. Will be be back. :)))

Called in to check out new wine bar 501 the bar next door what a surprise a really nice place fantastic selection of wines and cocktails plus staff very friendly and helpful
My wife and myself enjoyed the evening and will be going back very soon the management have done a great job on the refit to a very high standard which makes it .
A fabulous atmosphere without the need for heading in to town. A great place to meet up with friends.

Good setting, nice cocktails but the music was far to loud for a conversation which I feel suits the location better. Background music would be great, apart from that excellent.
Dropped in to take a look. We were very impressed, lovely decor, good atmosphere. The price of the drinks were OK, as a lot of the time some wine bars really bump up the price.
When first opened the cocktails were top drawer. Tried the pornstar yesterday and the ingredients seemed different and not as good. Do hope that now it's been open for a while that the standards don't slip. Might be passion fruit syrup rather then liquer. Still nice to have a nice cocktail bar in the village though.
This place had been recommended by a regular and the cocktails were fantastic and the staff very quick to serve and pleasant,but a rather big but the floor was old school sticky,which with sugary cocktails spilling at the bar should have been expected it was late in the evening when we arrived,we then sat down and the tables were sticky the bar had been sticky,it was generally unpleasant in its cleanliness,as a group of five we only had one enjoyable cocktail and moved on it did feel very unclean
