Had our wedding yesterday and had a truly lovely magical day thanks to Claire and her amazing team at the barn. The food is exquisite (as usual) and everything flowed so well Claire organised everything so we didn’t have to worry about a thing we could relax and enjoy the day. The day was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding. Thank you so much for making our day so special

Five of us went here yesterday for Mother's Day (3adults, a child & baby). We had preordered our food and it was all delicious. From the moment we arrived the staff were attentive, helpful and polite. It was the first visit for all of us and we were all very impressed. When a highchair was asked for it was brought to us promptly and the car seat taken out of the way (this was not asked for just suggested)

All in all a very good experience and we shall definitely be back

We had a terrible Mother's Day here and when we very calmly and politely explained to the lovely waitress why we hadn't eaten our food she rightly sent over the manager Mo - this man single-handedly wrecked our whole experience as he proceeded to argue with us and insult us, the worst people management skills I have ever come cross. On a food note we enjoyed the fish cake starter and the desserts but our main was disgusting and soooo expensive. We expected much more for the money. An overall horrible and very expensive experience and we will never go back and definitely recommend that anyone thinking of going here steers clear. There are far better restaurants to choose from. No-one need ever go here. The only positive is the lovely building, but even then you might get put in a separate side room. Just avoid for the sake of your palette and wallet.

I can't tell you how disappointed I am after our visit to the Barn this evening. My husband can't eat dairy, egg or wheat and after being told his meal would be made suitable for his needs, his main arrived completely inedible for him. My lamb main arrived covered in fatty meat so this was hardly touched. The service was SO slow all evening, waiting far too long between courses and then waiting another 20 minutes for payment to be taken!!! Utterly disappointed in what was my favourite restaurant!!!
