Fantastic hotel from start to finish. Booked us in as a twin but sorted it out and upgraded us to a sea view. Food was perfect in every way..portions looked small but they were very tasty and filling. Well worth the money. Will come again for sure!!
Food was very nice. Great location and view over the beach. Service was fine - empty when we arrived but the staff were friendly.
Lovely large beach, mainly sand with some rocks...great for rock pooling. Also benefits from a sea swimming pool (although not used) looked lovely.
And dogs welcome on leads...not that some people think that applys to their dogs, which is a shame as they will end up spoiling it for responsible dog owners!
Had drinks at The Beach before a meal (at a separate nearby restaurant), on Saturday, and it was a lovely atmosphere, helpful staff, stunning view (of the sea and sunset) and great service! Returned later in the evening for more drinks and it was extremely busy, staff did have a tendency to look over people who'd been waiting at the bar for a long while, in favour of those who had quickly dove in to more central spaces at the bar; but they did their best under hectic circumstances. So, still had a good time later on too. I would definitely rate it highly early evening though!
Stopped for a drink. Friendly and efficient service. Pleasant environment and great views of the Bude harbour. Nice watering hole!
Yeah, all good stuff. Nice view, great food, can't fault the service.
Always well kept as a beach, lifeguards are on duty at busy times. Great bars and restaurants around the beach. Has a very unusual outdoor pool that is filled by the sea at high tide.
A favourite spot, sitting outside and watching the sun set is magical in summer. Great wine / spirit selection with San Miguel on tap.
Nice atmosphere, good for a drink. Food pretty underwhelming, especially given the prices. Life's A Beach better for evening meals, IMO
