We loved this place! Had their most delicious battered fish and chips and an exquisite crab and avocado stack. Yum. Service was friendly and inviting - highly recommend.

We had an amazing breakfast yesterday before leaving the island! Good food, perfectly cooked and good value for money, friendly and attentive staff and perfect location � we will certainly return here next time we come over on holiday.

Very impressed with this delightful place and the food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Also Greg was able to adapt a dish to make it GF and DF to enable me to eat safely and enjoy it.--- very suitable for all Coeliacs .

Very good service, very friendly and best of all very dog friendly! Just the place to come after a nice beach walk and doggy swim!

Sorry we turned up late, Neil waited at Lymington since 4pm to get home and have a hot meal with his family. Everyone starving as we have no kitchen � we headed down to Flannagans � but then smelled awesomeness coming from the Beach Shack! So we took a chance to see if we could slide in for Burger night. Gracious Greg told us to take a seat! Legend!!

Super beach-side restaurant on the quieter side of Sandown pier. Great food and ambience at any time of year courtesy of the affable Greg, who prepares the finest crab dishes on the island including award-winning crabcakes and in the summer a crab and avocado stack to die for! Always good and always a pleasure to visit, even for just a beer.

My favourite place on the Isle of Wight. I had lunch here yesterday (Saturday) and though they were incredibly busy they still managed to serve the best and freshest crab cakes I've had anywhere in the world. This place has the perfect blend of relaxed atmosphere and professional service. I'll be back very soon.

Lovely location, right next to the beach. Delicious brunch of poached egg, smoked salmon and hollandaise on sourdough. Yum. We’ll be back for the seafood stacks (all of them)! Fast, friendly service and all cooked fresh.

Fantastic day at The Beach Shack today! Started off with a champagne breakfast and ended up with dinner there too, being the last to leave. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us and was very welcoming. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back! �

December 16th, sitting in the sun drinking Mermaid gin and eating bacon baguettes. A perfect blue sky and a matching sea. What more could we ask? Thanks to Greg and his team for another memorable visit on my partner 64th birthday when we rented "a cottage in the Isle of Wight as it's not too dear". We'll be back.

After a long tine of wanting to visit this beaut, I went with my dad for breakfast for Father’s Day.... absolutely delicious! Service was great, amazing view, couldn’t be in a better place thank you � smoked salmon highly recommend!
