Tiny bar, but lovely atmosphere. The prices weren't too bad either and the staff were friendly. Hope to visit again soon.

User

The best steak and ale pie I've EVER had. Couldn't leave a single bite of it. Lovely cosy pub and even has board games to play. I'll definitely come back if I'm here again.

User

Thanks to all for another great weekend in this fine pub...great service and great atmosphere...see you all next year..:)

User

Stumbled across the Beaconsfield on a rainy Tuesday- fantastic pub. Greeted by Aaron who encouraged us to try the gin specials with a selection of great fruits. Stayed so long I missed my train. Certainly can't wait to go back.

User

Lovely staff and food! Been here a couple of times now and will def go back!

User

Lovely pub with a nice atmosphere, great selection of gins. Food was great. Definitely recommend it.

User

Great pub, great gin selection. Lovely area, great sun trap can’t say much for the prices as it was a free bar when I went - would happily go back though

User

Great pub with a lovely atmosphere and a fab selection of gins. The manager Aaron was really welcoming and although we didn't stay for food it looked great. Will definitely be back!

User

First visit to this great pub. Really enjoyed the music. Friendly staff. Great selection of beers! Yummy food menu. Will be back.

User

Drop into the Beaconsfield Pub for a yummy lunch or dinner. Staff and patrons are always super friendly and you can always guarantee meeting people from overseas. Its a United Nations pub with British atmosphere. Aaron and staff were very welcoming

User

We had travelled from Australia and ended up having lunch at the Beaconsfield - great atmosphere very helpful staff and good yummy food. Aaron as very helpful giving us directions to the local station.

User

Friendly staff and food was nice enough. Ordered a cheesy veg burger and asked where the cheese came into it and guy couldn't say. It was supposed to come with coleslaw but they'd run out. Had to ask to find this out. It was supplemented with some sauce which we, again, had to ask what it was.

User

My rating has changed since my first visit. Thursday, great. Friday, no food because the "chef" had gone out to lunch! Saturday, only one person serving, queue out the door, half the beers had run out, and no food because the "chef" was also the barman. You need to be prepared when there's a show at Olympia.

User

£4 for an orange juice and soda?!! fuck off kensington :(

User

Worst lunch I've had in years. Ordered the 'Olympia Chicken' and it was cold flat slab of chicken sitting on some attempt at gravy with partially melted cheese and a piece of bacon balancing on top. Coleslaw looked like it was made last month and chips were not cooked. 3 of us sent it back - it was revolting. Gordon Ramsay needs to go in there and re-vamp their cooking as it is shocking.

Staff nice enough, but they could not even comment on the menu - which in itself was confusing to them. Will not be recommending this food in our foodie magazine.

User

Told barman we wanted to eat and had made a reservation, he said we could sit anywhere. Checked small menu, found one thing each we wanted, went to bar to order. Barman ignored me, served 2 customers who went to the bar after me. In the end he asked a colleague to take my order. This man then took a marker pen to the menu I had and blanked out most of it, apparently no beef or chicken available! Not sure why they didn't ring me prior to our arrival to let us know they only had chips. They took my phone number when I booked the table. Dire service, the staff obviously don't want customers and don't care, pathetic!

User

Friendly bar man but food was dire - and I mean dire ! No flavour, dry, cardboard- and very small portions. Won't be returning I'm afraid

User

Booked a table for dinner and arrived to be told no table booked, so take your pick. After a few minutes went to the bar to order and were told pretty much everything was off - no chicken, beef only Camembert pie left. Why not say that when we asked to be seated for a meal? Out of food on a Friday night on beer festival week at nearby Olympia - rubbish :-(

User

Awful. I went in really happy looking to celebrate with my mum who's disabled and I can't be too late getting her home. I stood at the bar for 20 minutes while the barman served people that had been there 30 seconds. It was so stressful and wasn't even offered anything to make me feel better. I was treated with no respect and as someone who is working in Harrods maybe my standards are just high but this was horrible and I'll never come back what a let down. Not a smile, nothing. Don't come to work if you're feeling that shitty
