The Beck

The only thing I will say about the beck is carvery is good but we went and had steak 4off us and asked for 1 rare and 2 medium rare and they all come out well done but they was eatable

Went there for Christmas dinner great service and brilliant meal 3 course for £10.99 can't go wrong there but it same service all year

Called in on curry night and i was very good. Curry, rice and naan plus a glass of house red for 9 quid. Spot on.

The place has improved enormously in decor and food. We really enjoyed our meal and the staff are very friendly.

Fantastic carvery good seating book in advance if there are more than 4 of you as it gets packed have the small meal as its bug enough for a large guy

We had another wonderful meal at the Beck, although there were 12 of us and the place was very busy we got served very quickly the food was very good

A Nice family orientated pub that serves a Carvery. It is only open until around 9pm during peak months so is a good place to grab a bite to eat. Parking is £3 outside for all day or 90 minutes is provided free if eating in the pub.

Nice place to have dinner. The 3 options for roast carvery are reasonable. Clean and nicely decorated searving a good range of drinks.
Slightly disappointed with the cheese and bacon burger should of had rack of ribs much better option.

Just came back from a lovely meal. Nice place nice staff and nice food. Very good deal with Birthday person eating free. My only small moan not a complaint is I don't like eating off wooden boards nice to look at but the good old plate is all you need.

Generally good food, but not always hot or fresh due to customer footfall of the day. Please note, there are 3 sizes of carvery. Kids, did not have, then medium or large, with a increase in price. I paid for a large, and my sister in law paid for a medium. We both had tickets that we gave to the server. He asked us identical questions of what we would like to choose for our food. 3 meats/ 1 or 2 Yorkshire puddings, then the rest was help yourself as long as it fitted on the small white plate. When we sat at our table, her portion was the same as mine but I had paid a couple pounds more than her. It made me feel, greedy for opting for this size initially, but cheated because there was no distinction. Its like OK so you are an indulgent person, let's take you Down a peg. I would never go back. Have eaten at the Beck for many years & have never had a bad meal . The staff are always pleasant & helpful. Just had the nicest beef i have had for a long while excellent

Love this place good choice of menu brilliant 2 for 1 deals lovely staff would 'reccomend been going for yrs .

Always get a good value for money carvery. I only have the standard size plate and always have more than enough to eat.
