The Beerhouse

After 2 years as General Manager of The Beerhouse I've decided it's time for me to accept a new challenge and say goodbye. I have had 3 1/2 wonderful years here & met many interesting people and one way or another, I'll miss you all. 😊

So glad we have our open fire to keep the Beerhouse warm during these frosty times ❄️

What a way to finish Friday night. Tonight we have the wonderful Me & The Moon performing from 8pm!

The weather never stops the party at our Winter Beer Festival, the centrally heated tent helps.

So the Winter Beer Festival starts at 5pm on Friday 27th to 29th of November. Live music from the Memphis Underground Duo on Friday night. Live music from Me & The Moon on Saturday night. And on Sunday afternoon we welcome Graham Buxton back. 50 + cask ales and 8 + ciders and Food everyday as well!

We are showing the Rugby World Cup games at the Beerhouse.

Matt 'Eddy' Edison popped in just before his wedding on Saturday! He chose a Brewshed Pale Ale, of course. 😊

We were just looking for a pub near the station and stumbled on The Beerhouse. Great place, really friendly staff and a top selection of well kept ales. Highly recommended.

Sat with hubby, me enjoying the expanse of ales, he enjoyed the ciders and spirits. Roaring open fire with the smell of wood smoke occasionally wafting through. Good music. Cracking evening.

Popped in for an 'Early Doors' Pint and a bite to Eat on the way to a Gig at the Apex - What a Fantastic Pub! Brewshed Beers were Great and the 'Beer Snacks' we had hit the spot - Chunky Fries, Prawns and Ribs in the most fantastic smoky BBQ Sauce! It's a Fair Trek from Colchester but worth it! Will be back again soon.....

My local ( well, one of them!) Friendly, great beer, great staff and customers and our cockapoo Stanley is not just welcome but treated like royalty. Bloody lucky to live where we do.

Love it here! Top beers, tasty bar snacks, good jukebox, good atmosphere - perfect!

Had a fantastic time @ the beer festival, great atmosphere, great live music, fantastic staff, having wickedly sunny hot weather was a bonus everyone was happy (mind u it may hv been bcos of the amount of beer consumed) 😂

Great beers! But the singer they had there for the beer festival was a total douchebag.

Excellent choice of cask and keg ales. Nice snacks.

Enjoy trying the different beers on offer

Always enjoy being there, the beer of course is great as there is always something different to try out and if you can get a place to sit there then we are set for the night

Serve some good beers (Rockabilly) yesterday. Seats could be a bit more comfortable though
