The Belle Vue Tavern, Pegwell Bay

It's all about chilling this Friday evening at the belle vue chill out night . From 6pm , playing in the garden , over looking pegwell bay , let us relax you into the weekend with some beautiful music , played by The Madera Duo . We really are going to play the soundtrack of the sunset 🌅

This Sunday , our live music offering is mr 'Paul (one love) Messenger' Playing outside in the garden if the weather is good , or inside if not ....... start time as always , 4pm !

For This Friday nights live music 'chill out' season , we are pleased to welcome the wonderfully talented 'Beth & the Allen Brothers ' . It's there first ever gig at the Belle Vue pegwell' and these brilliant musicians will bring a beautiful chilled jazz, blues and country set to the balcony of Kent 👍 We're so looking forward to it , hope you are too 😉

Today's musical entertainment in the garden is the vocal delights of 'Micheal' 😎 Bringing a summer holiday feel to the balcony of Kent with his reggae , soul and salsa tunes ! As always , music starts at 4pm , with BBQ Shack and Outside bar open too

Food being served from our BBQ and award winning kitchen too ....

Huge range of dishes available across 3 menus we were spoiled for choice

Would recommend this as a great meeting place with fab food and drinks and at reasonable prices

Thanks for a warm welcome for our 2 dogs for lunch last Thursday. It was puppy Domino ‘s first visit to the pub and won’t be his last ��

It was a bit foggy today but still lovely scenery and nice and peaceful ���

It was a wonderful afternoon ' lovely music which everyone there enjoyed with many people singing along and some like us' having a little dance.a very friendly atmosphere 'much appreciated. Thanks to the staff patron and the live music provided by excellent musician's...

It really is a lovely place food is good staff are very friendly and the views are amazing the only downside for me was having to put up with so many smokers in the garden sorry guys don't mind smokers but not either side of me while I am eating

Had a works dinner yesterday evening. 24 in attendance and well looked after by all the staff.

Had a lovely time at The Belle Vue on Friday evening. Sat outside enjoying the sea view and listening to live music when we first arrived and then went inside for a meal. The service at the bar and in the restaurant was faultless. The food was amazing.

Excellent beer garden with wonderful views across the bay. It had the BBQ going the day we went there some of our party had food from that and some had food from the kitchen all was lovely all piping hot I had the home made currey excellent. Staff very welcoming and always making sure everything is ok. Would defiantly visit again.

Brilliant view whilst eating dinner in Balcony Restaurant, chosen from varied and interesting menu and served with a smile!

“The Belle Vue Tavern” got the Benifit Of our Buisness ! having driven out to “The Jolly Farmer” for a drink , the lights were out on the outside of the building ! It looked shut and it might as well been and the door shut and this was before 10.30pm ! didn’t bother even to try the door ! Obviously had a good day and didn’t require any further Buisness !

So not so “Jolly” shame , knowing that you will get a welcome headed for “The Belle Vue Tavern” never fails on welcome or drinks !

We came here for our Christmas meal on Sunday 10th dec. When we arrived we found out that 2 people we're not coming, we explained this to the staff who then told us that we would have to pay for the no shows. After several conversations we we're told we didn't have to pay but while this was going on it kinda put a dampner on the evening. The food was OK but the vegetables that went with my lamb shank we're rock hard and could not be eaten so that was disappointing . The place was decorated beautifully the staff we're polite and attentive but when not busy stood chatting in a group. It was also very quiet there was only one other table taken. Overall OK but please cook your veg longer. Will come back

More about the view of the sea from the terrace really which is lovely enjoyed with a glass of something cold ;-) Staff friendly but food very average pub grub.

A lovely pub with amazing views. We had a family meal on Sunday which was good. The sun was shining, the customers happy and food was nice. However, the only letdown was one member of staff who slammed plates on the table, grunted at us and was very grumpy. Not a smile to be seen. Shame one person can ruin what would have been a lovely afternoon.

So much fat and no meat, the sweet pototo mash too much rosemary such a shame .. I like the place and might try it again .. it's always a good place to go and it was not busy for a change shame about one member of staff that was a let down I felt she had no patience so had t hurry want I wanted !

I like you garden but loads of staff behind the bar who seem oblivious to me waiting to be served . Nice pub but crap staff

Beautiful location but the attention to our Grandad's wake was very poor. The food was minimal and not at all what was expected. It was overall very disappointing, especially to our Nan who loved visiting this venue with our Grandad.

Waited too long to get served then food came was wrong and all they offered in replacement was a coffee not good
