The Tornado jets from the nearby RAF Marham will be starting their “farewell tour” this week.
You’ll be able to see them, right from our rear beer garden at The Berney, on Tuesday 19th from 1pm, Wednesday 20th from 1pm and Thursday 21st from 10am. Happy plane spotting!

Would definitely recommend both staying or eating at the Berney Arms. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent service, superb freshly cooked, locally sourced food and really comfortable rooms.

The perfect location for my bird watching break being within easy reach of tge North Norfolk Coast, the Broads, Ouse Marshes, the Breckland and only an hour from Rutland Water.

Went to the Berney arms for the first time last week, really loved it, defo recommend. The food was delicious, very well presented. Very friendly staff. Our only issue was there were lots of flys however it's a country pub on a hot day & our waitress did her best & got us some candles & moved us to a different table :) Will definitely be eating there again soon. The brandy liver pate with caramelised onion starter was great, also recommend the burger & the fish & chips, but tbh everything we had was really nice (we are foodies & we do have quite high/ fussy expectations when it comes to meals out ;p !) Would also recommend the gardens for a cold beer on a warm day, Love their colourful tables! Thanks guys

We had such a wonderful stay at The Berney Arms. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. Can't wait to stay here soon with all of my bridal party for my wedding.

We had a fab meal this evening at the pub. We had the lamb and the veal both cooked beautifully, both dishes had lovely local and seasonal Ingredients, and were simply Delicious! We sat in the newly renovated part of the pub which was gorgeously decorated! We were welcomed warmly and made to feel very comfortable. The front of house staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We will be back!

Very pleasant Inn to relax & have a drink with friends. Also, it is worth noting that the Berney serves very good food at reasonable prices. Plenty of parking & two bars to choose from, with friendly polite staff !. What more could you want from a nice Local Public House ?? I'd certainly recommend The Berney Arms.

Stayed here this week in the Forge Suite as I was in Norfolk for a memorial service. Wonderful rooms suite across the car park away from the main building. Clean and fresh with lovely beams, a very comfortable bed and a great walk in shower. Everything you need for a comfortable stay, tea, coffee biscuits, toiletries and a useful hairdryer. Food choice for breakfast and the evening meal the previous night was amazing and the poached eggs, advocado and mushrooms on gluten free granary roll I had for breakfast was spot on. The staff are all polite, friendly and attentive. I have stayed here before and wasn't disappointed once again. I would happily recommend it.

Stayed at the berney arms for the night on Saturday, was blown away by the tranquility of the place and just how gorgeous the pub and its surroundings are. Breakfast was amazing. We will be staying at the berney arms when ever we visit family in Norfolk now.

Love to go to the burney on a sun about 5pm with our dog for a late roast dinner, never disappointed. Also been New Year's Eve in the past and other family occasions always excellent

Just eaten the venison and my wife had the chicken, fantastic flavours and cooked to perfection. One of my favourite meals by far. Highly recommend

I wish I could give more than 5 stars but I realise that's the limit!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner there and nothing was too much trouble, even down to them helping out my hubby with a surprise!

I couldn't fault anything, the food and drink were excellent and extremely good value for money, the staff were fantastic and the place itself is stunning.

I can't recommend highly enough and will definitely be coming back ASAP!

Great food and outstanding service in a picturesque location

Glorious sunny day so lots of people were able to eat lunch in the garden. We did have a table indoors bt the window though. Staff friendly but knew their stuff. While we waited for our chosen 'roast', we nibbled on pork crackling and deep fried kale. Delicious. Roast very good with - yes wonderfully creamy cauliflower cheese

Due to not knowing the area we had a look on trip advisor and found this place and we weren't disappointed! Lovely quaint atmosphere that was clean and well presented. The food was delicious and very good value for money! We would definitely recommend!
