The Big Busk: Happy Days In Shrewsbury

About The Big Busk: Happy Days In Shrewsbury

On Saturday 1st April 2017, Shrewsbury will be filled with music, song, dance, art, magic, poetry and friends Happydays : )

The Big Busk: Happy Days In Shrewsbury Description

"My music will go on forever" Bob Marley

On the anniversary of his birthday, family and friends of town busker Ben Bebbington who was murdered in September 2012 pay tribute to his love of music, with the annual Big Busk festival.
With the focus on "Happy days" which was Bens approach to life, the day is an event to engage and inspire people with this philosophy, whilst raising awareness and funds for The Shrewsbury Ark, a local charity that supported Ben and where he spent many good times with his guitar.

Following its success and fantastic support, The Big Busk has now become an annual event.
For further details about The Big Busk, to volunteer, or to participate in the day contact:

What amazing work the organisers have done again this year, outdoing their already brilliant efforts. It was a pleasure to play, to listen and just to be around the town, transformed by music.

User

Was absolutely fabulous the atmosphere was one of community and fun food for the soul :)

User

This is the ideal opportunity to support a worthy cause, put Shrewsbury on the music map and have as much fun as you can. Remember to give a little money and participate. 'The World's Biggest Percussion Band' needs you to bring something to hit on Sunday 5th at Saint Chads Church.

User
