The Bike Rooms - Manchester

Recently and after much soul searching I decided to buy a Pinarello Dogma F10. Before making such an expensive purchase I wanted to see and feel the bike so I made arrangements to go down to Manchester to meet up with Stuart and progress the matter. Due to the failings of Virgin Rail I did not have as much time to spend with Stuart as I had intended but undaunted Stuart had me on a number of test frames to verify the correct size and then spent some time altering and changing components until we were satisfied that everything was spot on. It was apparent from the outset that they care about bikes and more importantly the customer and appreciate that it is a big purchase and needs to be just right. As the actual frame I wanted was not in the shop I agreed to have the bike built up and forwarded onto me . I was supplying my own wheels and I had them delivered to the shop .We agreed a time for delivery and the complete bike arrived bang on time, well packed and perfect in every detail. Throughout the whole experience the Bike Shop, and Stuart in particular were so helpful and professional. Nothing seemed to be a bother despite my changing the odd thing. Yes it is an expensive bit of kit and I suppose you should expect quality service, but the two things often do not go together, but in the case of the Bike Rooms, they did and I cannot recommend them highly enough. A great experience throughout.

Just purchased an F8 with Campag Super Record EPS from Manchester branch. Stuart is a first class sales assistant. He got the bike in from Swindon, ordered in narrower aero bars to suit me and then set up and re-configured Saturday morning. I was at the shop for 2.5 hrs.Great coffee and as I sat I listened to the staff take the time to explain all the attributes of each bike to customers viewing. Imagine my surprise on checking my emails the next day to find Stuart had contacted me saying it had occurred to him that the Pina bottle cages supplied wouldn't take standard bottles and he would mail me standard ones down as finding bottles 66mm dia. was difficult. The experience and communication from start to finish is so slick.

Bought my Pinarello Dogma F10 from here. Stuart the staff member who served me was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate about the products sold in the store and more importantly put up with my anal ways about how I like my bikes 😁😁. Totally enjoyed buying from this store and customer service superb !!!! Cannot fault at all. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Shoddy in the extreme. Buying a bike is one thing, but don't have any work done there. The mechanics are incapable of reading the job sheet and don't pay a blind bit of attention to what you tell them - and the management (one of whom I had to send away as the grown ups were talking) think this is acceptable because the mechanics are "passionate" about having a pristine machine.

Don't waste your time and money - go to a proper bike shop

Amazing service, the best I have ever received when buying a bike (even though what I was buying was over 50% off!). The bikes are great value and they have hidden great deals downstairs.

Just picked up my new dogma yesterday. The bike rooms is an amazing shop with so much choice and great prices for the quality of bikes on offer. I drove specifically from Leicester to Manchester to see this shop! Graeme serviced me throughout the process and gave really helpful advice and was able to build my perfect bike in time for me to collect on the weekend (even though I changed my mind several times on how to build the bike!) great staff and great shop, can't recommend it highly enough.

Superlative bike shop. I am completely surprised by the negative comments. I bought a Rokh from them last year, and they could not have been more helpful. Graham, in particular was knowledgeable, insightful and provided a great deal of help and guidance. There was no pressure or 'hard-sell'. They have subsequently serviced the bike for me and I could not be happier.
