Have just picked up my MB and the service was first class. Simon was so helpful and his advice very useful .

This is a great bike shop in the old school mode for service and advice yet fully up to date with the latest innovations. Good level of stock and they will get anything they don't have quickly from the other bike sheds. Spot on.

Best service, advice and attention you could ask for from Mike, Simon , Peter (James) and the team.

I enjoyed Nik's personal service - redolent of an old fashioned bicyclery. But I soon realised these people are hugely knowledgable. And they're honest: if he doesn't know he says so, but knows who to consult to find out. The workshop is well equipped and tidy. I've got confidence in this shop.

horrible, I went into this store asking if they could ammend the gear setup of a bike I bought 2 days before ( although admittedly at 1 of their other branches) I described the problem as heavy upshifting into last two gears and a clumping when I stopped peddling in highest gear, for this they made a note of checking both brakes and saying they couldn't possibly imagine what was wrong with it, so I thought being young and such likes enjoying absurd music they misheard and reiterated my problem ( obviously the gears) so they checked the straightness of the seat. at this point I realised they were sharing some yobbish joke as they said there you go all done, I've never encountered these people be4 or been to this town b4 so it's not like they can think I'm 1 of the guys they suspect of doing "their" bird, so all I can say is don't go here, the Exeter bikeshed was great this bikeshed is obviously a good way of keeping "them" off the streets. I also feel the need to point out that on the way out one of them thinking out of earshot thought now would be a good time to insult the cleanliness of my mind, you need extrapolate the word 4 yourself but needless to say I won't be recommending this shop for anything short of closure

I took my Mavic rim in here having been directed to this site by Mavic to have an axle replaced.

I dropped the wheel in before a bank holiday. They were helpful on the phone and said to pop out and see what they can sort.

As I thought, it needed a new axle and the technician mentioned the part comes from France but pop in next Weds and pick up the wheel.

Luckily before driving out I called to see if it was ready to which I was told, sorry no part try Friday.

I actually called back the week after having heard nothing, still no part.

I called back this week having missed 2 weeks of training for the ironman & beginning to get frustrated that they haven't chased the part / tried to do anything to sort / or inform me of delays.

I simply asked them please service the rest of the wheel and i'll pick up on Friday with or without the axle. (In the meantime I've managed to source the axle part online for next day delivery £27? Why could they have not done this!?)

I've then gone in today to pick the wheel up, they have done absolutely nothing, not serviced the wheel, trued it or anything - they claim they couldn't get the wheel in the machine to true the wheel (yet I can get the wheel on my bike and ride it even with this bit broken) + the last time I checked you don't need an axle to service the hub / replace bearings??

Absolutely nothing despite having had the wheel for over 3 weeks!? So all I've achieved is 2 wasted trips of fuel.

I'm also fairly certain that the item that was broken was done by their Exeter shop,I paid £160 for a service at this site and the bike came back worse than it went in!!

All in all, avoid this shop like the absolute plague.
