JOLE RIDER is looking for its business partner in The BIKE SHED Tetbury - the new commercial cycling retail centre in the Cotswolds.
Expressions of Interest are NOW invited.
JOLE RIDER is a registered charity and its flagship programme is Bikes4Africa. The terrain and distances between home and school in Africa can be immense. The programme helps eliminate the problems by helping children get to school by bike.
The BIKE SHED - Tetbury forms an important element in the charity's commercial activities and our strategy is now to expand that contribution by combining with a commercial partner for mutual benefit.
This is a five star opportunity for the right partner wishing to expand in the retail cycling industry, building on the already established customer base wihin a ready2go retail space. With other unique add-ons to assist rapid business development the way forward for the right partner is exciting and highly rewarding.

This afternoon we dipped in next door to see our new neighbours and get a sneak preview of the place they are creating. Mike and Andrea had brushes in hand and Matt had a smoothing trowel. Not sure what Matt was doing with that, but he looked like he was enjoying having it in hand.
Jesting apart, what a place these guys are creating in there - for the new home of Be Precision Fit personal training centre! Fit people and Unfit people alike are going to just love their place! It looks so cool already and they still have a month of work ahead of them - before the BIG OPENING DAY! Full marks you guys!
Just about all the grey paint is now on. Shelves to go in next, followed by door, glass and a slop of Plum paint on the ends. We love our Plum.
Brushes out again today to move this project nearer to completion next week. All being well, it will be displaying some nice campag gear by the next Bike Jumble!

Nearly done. What looked like a cocktail bar last week will soon provide display space for 3 bikes. The best of them is perhaps our Rustola Bike - featuring a 1934 Hercules. A terrific show piece created by our own Alan and decades of damp weathering. Brilliant !
Another shed display unit takes shape this week. This one is built around a recycled metal framed bench which had already gone for scrap. We saved it just in time - and now our Nick is transforming it - with the aid of a recycled glass shower screen. Someone said it looks like a magician's prop for disappearing assistants! It's because of the wheels we thinks - magicians have them on wheels! Funny how the mind works!
The Saturday mornig line-up of The Bike Shed All-Weather Girls - just about to leave on their cruise of the lanes and coffee and cake stops!

This is Guy on this very special gents town bike. Being a tall chap, Guy needed a large frame machine and was determined to have a classic. Well, Guy chose this Dutch Altra bike which, when he spotted it in The BIKE SHED - Tetbury, needed a whole lot of work doing. A whole lot of work done, Guy is now riding the local lanes of the Cotswolds in style.
Another lovely bike brought back to life. Thank you Guy and happy cycling.
