Yesterday we enjoyed a delicious and tasty Sunday roast <3 Lovely atmosphere, good service, friendly staff and I loved the beer garden. One of the best pubs in Lincoln nowadays!!! :-)

Yeah i've been trying to get down there for weeks but due to working late i always found it difficult anyway i thought the karaoke was great and really enjoyed it, nice people and a nice little pub i will defo be back.

We came here for bite to eat before a night in Lincoln. We booked in advance, the staff were so helpful sending us menus. When we got here excellent service, great selection of drinks. Food came, it was amazing, empty plates all round. Chips were out of this world. We can't wait till the new menu comes out. We will be coming back again soon. Thank you.

Visited the birdcage last night, what a lovely place, staff very friendly and helpful and food was fabulous... separate gluten free menu which had a good selection on. Only thing I could fault was the portion size as I couldn't manage a pudding after eating my main xxx would highly recommend this place for anyone x

Popped in for my first time and the lovely lady behind the bar was really welcoming and friendly! She allowed me to try a few ales and helped me pick something I'd enjoy before I chose my drink which was apart of her great customer service! Really warming and relaxed atmosphere! Would recommend!

Played a gig here last night with my band NyteWalkers, and it was superb!, great management, bar staff and punters, highly recommended ��

Perhaps the best veggie burger I've had, plus the chef was brilliant as I'm allergic to dairy and he made me some dairy free onion rings. Being a veggie and not being able to have dairy makes it difficult so I am really happy I was able to have the full meal without missing out! Staff were lovely and the choice of drinks was great. I really recommend this little gem of a pub!

Nice bar, friendly staff and customers, good selection of beer and a nice beer garden. A good stop off between the dog and bone and the jolly brewer.

Lovely small corner pub. Nice atmosphere great band silver riders playing blues on night I was there. No car park and Parking is limited in surrounding streets with mostly double yellow lines and residents parking making up the majority of spaces. Apparently multi story paying carpark five minutes walk away. Needed satnav to find pub. Would definitely recommend. Didn’t get chance to eat there but have heard food great

I highly recommend The Birdcage to anyone visiting or living in Lincoln! Whatever age, colour, religion, sexuality you WILL be made welcome. Beautiful décor, very tasty and reasonably priced food, adorable bar staff and the owners are just a joy. The whole crew were born to be in the hospitality trade- Nothing is too much trouble.If we could transport this little haven back to Norfolk with us we would do it in a heartbeat! I was a bit dissapointed at first to find no birds in cages and that it was in fact a pub and not a strip club , but my dissapointment was very short lived once I realised in fact it was a lovely little pub with great staff and a warming atmosphere . It also has a very nice beer garden out the back and is very clean and tidy inside and out , and I'm sure I'll be visiting more frequently in the near future .

I rang yesterday to see if The Birdcage could accommodate a party of 10 tonight, I knew I was pushing my luck but with the fantastic service I received from Rachael, she managed to squeeze us in and we are so pleased you did. The welcome was warm, the pub is lovely and the food was delicious. I even got a text earlier today to tell me the card machine wasn’t working so we had prior warning to bring cash. Great place, fab staff who looked after our every need and will definitely be returning again!! Thank you!!

Had my first visit to the Birdcage on Sunday, very friendly pub, will make it one of my regulars when I move back to Lincoln... Will definitely be taking along some of my Munnart Lincoln sketches to hang on the wall

Came to see true order to night we travelled from Darlington cause we follow these lads who are superb. Chris and Rachel the land lord and land lady were first class made a point of comeing over and chatting to us . Really friendly pub with friendly locals .

Hope you get more bands on so we can pay you visit again loved the place .

Been here to eat a couple of times now and the chef is an evil genius. The food is incredible and the portions are amazing, more than enough value for money. My daughter has coeliac and she has just demolished a free from Christmas dinner that was on par with my mums ! The staff are friendly and welcoming and the drinks are reasonably priced and varied. This is my new local for sure �

Amazing Sunday lunch. Perfectly seasoned and cooked meat. Couldn’t fault anything about it. X

Visited to see a band on Saturday night 22.04.17 Roy Raven & The Winkle Pickers 50s Rock n Roll band, staff were pleasant, ambience was pleasant, Rachael & her husband has done a lot of work to the place, to bring it back from a dingy smoke hole, dirty back street boozer to an airy pub that wouldn't be out of place on any High Street. More than adequate food menu at reasonable prices as is the draught beers too. Already known for it's eclectic mix of live entertainment. Well Done. Keep up the good work.
