Hi, we are Lynn and Gordon and we own "The Blackwell Desk Company" selling quality Desks, Bookcases, Chesterfields and any associated study furniture. We handpick all of our pieces for Style and Quality and present them to a high standard in our Showroom in Darlington Town Centre. Please visit us - we are located in Blackwellgate Arcade, opposite House of Fraser and next to Boyes. Come into the Arcade and we are straight ahead at the top of the steps. By car, park in Beaumont Street Car Park and walk to the Arcade (next to Boyes rear entrance). Come up through the courtyard next to Crooners Champagne Bar, go up the steps and we are to the right. We open Saturdays 9. 30am till 5. 00pm, at other times its best to give us a call on 0794 393 6037 to check if we are open as we are often out on deliveries during the week.

Fabulous Antique Victorian Oak Roll Top Desk with bags of character. With ‘S’ shape Tambour roller top and brass lock plate (no lock] with pigeon holes and small drawers inside. There is a writing slide above the main bank of drawers. In good, much loved condition, this desk is in one piece and is heavy. Measures approx 3ft x 27 inches and stands 45” tall. £350
