We've just come back from Sunday lunch t the Bladebone and I have to say it was the best roast dinner I have had in years (and we do a lot of RDR - roast dinner research. The roast beef was superb, cooked exactly how I like it with plenty of slices and no chewy bits. Roast spuds gorgeous and golden on the outside, but white and fluffy on the inside. The yorkies Amazeballs and I loved the serving of veg done just right with extra gravy, yorky and roasties. I nearly always have to ask for extra gravy. Then I had the pear frangipani with clotted cream which was divine. The service was first class and everything was just so special. Thank you so much to all the team. You should be very proud.

Visited a few weekends back for my birthday with 13 family members and it was nothing but FANTASTIC!! The food, the staff, the setting! Couldn’t recommend enough

The food was absolutely gorgeous and we got a complementary cheese scone which we couldnt believe how tasty and moreish it was. I would order them next time. Staff were so friendly and really looked after us. We sat in the garden which is so pretty for over 4 hours. Cant wait to go back as soon as we can it was a great experience best meal out for a long time

The best pub in the county, beats The Crown at Bray hands down - never thought there could be a better burger and that’s only one of their amazing dishes!

I went to the Bladebone on the 12/07/18 with my wife for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The food was stunning and the service was excellent. We will definitely be going back. Very highly recommend going. �.

I have brought my parents and family here a few times now, and every time is wonderful. The food is special and the staff are kind and attentive. When it was mum's 70th birthday back in Sept, they made a special 'on the house' dessert for her, with candles and the waitresses sang for her!!!! Best fish and chips and minty mushy peas need to be mentioned!!!!!

Had an amazing birthday lunch at The Bladebone earlier this month. Was a fantastic treat. 3 generations out for a Sunday lunch. The food was spectacular. Perfect portion sizes with the roasts having the option of additional vegetables which was so nice due to different appetites we had. Starters included the Bubble & Squeak, Cheesy Scones and Diddy Sausages and the Scallops Gruyere. Nothing was left on the plates! Majority of the mains were the Roast Lamb and one portion of the Fish Pie. So fantastic that there were 3 different requests for the degree of cooking for the lamb and each dish was perfectly presented done exactly as requested.

The staff were so attentive and left you to enjoy your meal whilst managing to keep an eye on the table.

What an unbelievable meal. Felt so welcome and the food is incredible!!

Finally got round to having Sunday lunch today. All I can say is WOW, what were we waiting for? We had the best roast dinner ever and were piggy enough to have a desert. Warm welcome, cosy ambience, well looked after by Alex and team and the food was divine, plenty of perfectly cooked vegetables to accompany the fab roast sirloin and my chicken. Will be back soon to try the evening menu.

Enjoyed some excellent food here yesterday starter / main course and free tasters courtesy of the chefs, all perfectly cooked. This place is amazing for Food or a casual drink with friends and family. Be sure to book ahead as it’s always very very busy and that speaks for itself just how good it is.

Absolutely sublime ! My husband and I went for dinner mid week and were delighted to be able to bring our two dogs with us). We had Camembert to start, blade of beef and the scallop, black pudding and pork main accompanied by a bottle of red. The food was out of this world ! The wine was fantastic too. The staff although it had been the hottest day of the year so far and they must have been hot and exhausted were so friendly and efficient and made us feel right at home we met the owner and the management team too and they were all absolutely lovely. The dogs were made a fuss of bought water treats and a bed �. Nothing was too much. Thank you ever so much for a wonderful evening we will be back very soon ! (P.s sorry the review is so late) �
