We already offer a Vegetarian & Vegan menu but we will be celebrating Vegetarian Week on 13th-19th May with a special Vegetarian menu. (Regular menus available still too for those non vegetarians). Crispy feta Bon Bon‚Äôs with beetroot gnocchi and sweet chilli jam, a red onion tart train with French Brie, saffron risotto and a mixed bean stroganoff are just some of the delicious dishes our kitchen have been working on. What a lovely family evening- food was plentiful and delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming!

We’ve been coming here for years, it is my favourite restaurant and yesterday did not disappoint. Wonderful starter of prawns in garlic and chilli, and a delicious roast beef main. Always made to feel welcome from the moment you step through the door, I cannot recommend this place enough.

We went for lunch yesterday for my mums 50th birthday and as per usual the food and service was AMAZING. The waiter also brought out a special desert for my mum. This restaurant is a must to visit.

We had the best time food was super , staff were attentive and a couple got engaged on the table near us .. the staff looked after everyone beautifully.. will definitely go back and tell all my friends how good it was ...

We came yesterday with friends for Sunday lunch, it was, as always excellent. The restaurant was spotlessly clean all the staff were very friendly and polite. Plenty of choice on the menu. All the food was well cooked and nicely presented. My wife said it was one of the best meals she'd ever had. Highly recommended, well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed

We came to celebrate a 70th birthday and from the moment we arrived till we left the service and food was fab. The staff were attentive and made the birthday girl feel special. Having eaten here on a number of occasions, I love that we are never rushed out and the attention to detail is the same regardless of group size.

We booked for lunch, a post Christmas family gathering but it became a celebration as we’d received goid news in the morning. The staff could not have been more courteous and efficient. I live in Kent so not local for me but my husband and I would like to return. The food was delicious and portion sizes good - almost too good! I struggled to eat it all! I like the fact they support the local vineyard and the New Hall Vineyard sparkling wine was excellent.

The food was absolutely gorgeous, cosy atmosphere, staff is amazing. It was our first time there and not the last that's for sure! It was also our 1st wedding anniversary and they added a personal touch at the end of the meal which made the end of the dinner a little more special. Thank you and see you soon ÔøΩÔøΩ

Perfect place for a birthday meal. The food was all excellent. (I personally recommend the seafood platter & the Cromer crab). The restaurant is all nooks and crannies & really atmospheric & the service was friendly, thorough but unobtrusive. Just perfect. Thoroughly recommend.

I've been meaning to try The Blue Strawberry for sometime and finally got to go yesterday. It was to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary so I'm delighted that we weren't disappointed.



The food and service were both excellent. We had a table in the garden area which was a lovely setting and under shade, it was appreciated.

I had heard somewhere, ages ago, that this was a good place to eat so I took the girlfriend to celebrate her getting her new job. It was a great experience! It was busy, which added to the ambiance, but we were served promptly at the bar and able to sit whilst we waited on our table, as we arrived a little early. The interior was cozy and well presented. Every member of the staff was approachable and helpful. The food was amazing!! We had the venison and the lamb. Both were beautifully presented and tasted great. The desserts were an absolute treat too. A creme brulee and a fruit meringue. I will visit again.

Have been going here for years and the quality of food and service and the warm welcome never fails..... Would highly recommend...... The Blue Strawberry salad is always a 'winner'. Very sensibly priced and I love the fact that the veg is included in the price, no extras for each type of veg as many restaurants do now....which racks up the price .

Had lots of friends telling me how great this place was so just had to visit. Initially it was very quiet as I went as it opened but filled up quite quickly, impressive for a Monday lunchtime.

Staff are delightful and very polite and attentive. It’s of good humour but appropriate.the menu was astonishingly varied for a smallish place, I was quite challenged o decide on starter, eventually settled on a delicious home made liver pate, with one less triangle of toast than would have been perfect, but I had some of my roll anyway. The Nikon jam was delicious too.

Main was a seafood linguine with a spicy tomato sauce I had a salad with it, was going to moan about the blandness of the dressing, but actually it perfectly complimented the spiciness of the sauce. Only moan, nowhere to place the shells. Otherwise it as lovely.

Dessert was a meringue Pavlova with Mango and Pineaple compote with cream.

Service is superb, the venue is lovely and the staff work to a very efficient organised regime.

Was it worth the trip? Oh YES!

Loved the place very clean well kept toilet, smallish car park, well worth a visit.

Great reception, friendly and professional staff.

Attended today for a birthday lunch. I am gluten intolerant and this place was fantastic!! Nothing was too much trouble, the staff knew their food and I wasn’t made to feel like a freak! Food was amazing too.

As soon as you walk into this restaurant you’re made to feel welcome. The staff are friendly and always have a smile. It’s always busy but never feels crowded and even at full capacity, the service is still great. As if that wasn’t enough, the food is gorgeous. Been a few times now and will continue to go.

An absolutely wonderful time was had by all 13 of us. It was for my uncles very special birthday. Richard kept us entertained the whole time we were there. The waitresses were lovely and the food spectacular.

A lovely lunch today with my husband. Food very good and service excellent. Not only were the staff friendly and attentive they also produced a large print menu for me fresh from the printer! This was very much appreciated and we look forward to a return visit.

A lovely cosy and friendly bistro where the staff are all too happy to help. Wonderful food and wine and an entirely lovely way to spend a couple of hours! We’ll be back soon!

years and would recommend it to other people. Staff are very courteous and very helpful.

Cater very well for vegetarians & vegans. In-fact a completely separate vegan menu which is a nice touch. It would be useful to put this menu online however

Went here Friday for my mother in laws birthday and was a little disappointed. We had side plates and butter on the table but never received bread rolls, and the pate came with a piece of sliced white bread, would have expected Melba toast or some thing a little more restaurant quality. Found it a little underwhelming and over priced.

Booked Easter Sunday lunch initially for three but they kindly accommodated another diner last minute. Warm welcome by everyone and we had a nice table upstairs - the room looked a picture with its crisp white linen table cloths, sparkly glassware and happy diners! Menu was a set one at £23-odd for 3 courses - roast meats, fishes & chickens all sounded lovely. Starters of soup, local smoked seafood, whipped goats cheese passed the muster, alas prawn cocktail was titchy watery and very small. Entrees of coq au vin, fish trio and roast turkey also was super, alas my rosst beef (having asked how I would like it - pink was the reply) came out looking like dried shoe soles, the yorkie was dry and uncuttable - staff promptly replaced the plate with nice pink in the middle beef with no fuss. Puddings were great as was the merlot and so fab to see on a wine list gewurtztraminer!

To be honest after all the hype from friends family colleagues and neighbours over the years of it being Very Posh Nosh, we didnt agree 100% really. We had to prompt waitresses to clear down table after each course, water was spilt on table and we had to dab it with our napkins, wine (in bucket on legs by side of table) was left for us to pour oursrlves and the fact that my plate of roast beef had clearly been forgotten and left to dry out under hotplate, and was served like that, how did it get out of the kitchen!

All in all an we found it sadly just over average and didnt get the hype. Sorry ÔøΩ
