About The Boardroom Network

More than just networking, we are a Business Club driving better quality connections for our members. See the difference yourself by visiting one of our monthly events.

The Boardroom Network Description

The Boardroom Network is all about business. We focus on decision makers – business owners, directors and managers. Our monthly breakfast events unashamedly take the best of other networks but add an engaging new format with more open networking and one-to-ones, as well as table swaps.

The big three
What makes The Boardroom Network different? Three central philosophies. First, membership is restricted and we shall place limits on the numbers of representatives of any profession. Second, as new members are the lifeblood of any network group, The Boardroom Network is backed by a dedicated full-time event manager. Thanks to this, the third difference is that you can expect to meet new members at every event.

Who can attend
To be a member, you must be able to buy and sell. It’s that simple. So apologies to multi-level marketers and charities – The Boardroom Network is not for you. However, please don’t think us uncaring: we will appoint an annual charity to benefit directly from our members’ generosity.

Time is of the essence
Thanks to our strict commercial agenda, we recognise the importance of your time. That’s why our events are closely managed to keep everything concise. And breakfast comes second to business. So you will get out on time.

Once a year, it's become a tradition for the Dorset meeting of The Boardroom Network to enjoy one of our summer breakfasts, ideally outside, at The Italian Villa.
With one of the most glorious days of the year so far, weather-wise, we celebrated Independence Day with a new take on what it truly means to be independent business people coming together for a common purpose.
For you to enjoy, our blog: Independence 2.0... https://lnkd.in/eNQADr8 #businessnetworking #networking #keynote with thanks to: Tony Beales, Jay Rachet MC 🎤 🎧, Justin Wharmby, Chris Palmer, Tim Adams, Lee Thomas, Dawn Palmer, Jamie Forster, and Aaron Whiffin https://theboardroomnetwork.com/independe nce-2-point-0/

What makes for a productive network? Certainly, the location and the loyalty of the members really helps - the latter being essential. But there's more...
There's a lot of back-stage work that goes on too, to keep the productive results consistent.... That's why the meticulous planning Jacqueline Frampton that goes into every event is the unseen thread that draws each event together successfully. That means from inviting a constant flow of fresh visitors to running the event to following up with resources like this one.
Then there is rock-steady commitment of Jay Rachet, MC, who is there hours before, and clearing up afterwards - noticed for being the voice and face of TBN, but active in the unseen making sure each venue delivers an experience that our members enjoy.
Then there would be no visual record of such memorable events if it wasn't for the passion for perfection expressed by our resident lensman, Justin Wharmby.
So, I wanted to say a very public thank you to Jacqui, to Jay, and to Justin - the J-Team.

A most glorious morning at the Summer Special Breakfast Meeting of The Boardroom Network, Dorset.

We experienced some genuine 'breakthrough' moments at June's TBN Wiltshire breakfast. Clare Yates led us towards embracing change and welcoming those who bring the opportunity; Chris Rees encouraged us to take to the water and grow as a team during Southampton Sailing Week; Lex McKee explored how co-ordinating our cooperative approach to sharing posts could revolutionise our impact on Social Media; and Sam Dyer physically demonstrated the power of breaking arrows with the bare throat... transformational thinking and action!

With more adventure, sharper focus, and transformational change just a broken arrow away, what exactly are members of The Boardroom Network getting up to in our events. If you read this, you'll discover the exciting truth about dynamic networking! https://theboardroomnetwork.com/breaking- good/

1) From Southampton Sailing Week with Chris Rees of Rees Leisure To 2) smashing the competition with collaborative and co-ordinated Social Media Marketing using the Roman Testudo ('Tortoise') formation as a model (think phone tree and call me!) To 3) breaking arrows with Sam Dyer as a metaphor for greater business breakthroughs,... this video has some positive opportunities for you to watch, enjoy, and then seize for yourself.
Specific actions you can take: 1) You can join us at Southampton Sailing Week 2) You can collaborate, co-operate, and co-ordinate with us to improve the reach of your social media marketing efforts 3) You can breakthrough with Sam Dyer

Check out these stats:
A 50-year-old startup founder is 2.2 times more likely to found a successful startup as a 30-year-old. A 40-year-old startup founder is 2.1 times more likely to found a successful startup as a 25-year-old. A 50-year-old startup founder is 2.8 times more likely to found a successful startup as a 25-year-old founder.... And if you want a really fun statistic:
A 60-year-old startup founder is 3 times as likely to found a successful startup as a 30-year-old startup founder--and is 1.7 times as likely to found a startup that winds up in the top 0.1 percent of all companies.

Michael Birchmore and Chris Rees led us all towards greater appreciation of the business value of the great outdoors. For Michael, it was the Ecologically-Literate Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku ('Forest Bathing') and for Chris Rees it was the camaraderie and rewards available for those of us who sign up for Southampton Sailing Week. Chris Palmer and Sam Sharma also shared opportunities unique to members.

Here's a great opportunity to review what we discovered on Midsummer's Day at TBN Hampshire. It was largely about the positive influence the 'outside' can have upon us. https://theboardroomnetwork.com/outside-i nfluence/

I've just been looking at Sam Sharma's first book, "The Money Life Coach - innovative financial planning." Here's a Mind Map of the contents. I quote, "Honestly, prosperity is a way of living and thinking, and so is poverty!"
"Financial Freedom: To never ask for money. To expect no help with money. To never depend on anyone for money."
... Sounds great to me!
In the book, Sam exhorts us to take ownership of our own destiny - specifically, financially. May I recommend that you connect with Sam, and invest £15 in this book that may just change your future - financially and otherwise.
Sam is running some free workshops for us at TBN - after the meetings in our three key locations.
Chat to Sam to discover more.
The Workshop is called, "How to GET more done in less time & CREATE a mindset of excellence."

With nearly 100 members and visitors, the level of enthusiasm in the room for Thursday's breakfast event was tangible! Three practical and engaging keynotes delivered stunning value-for-money, whilst the breakfast was one of the best yet - thanks to the Dudsbury team. Photographs courtesy of Justin Wharmby
