We will definitely be back, thanks so much for helping our team unwind and step into Christmas in style! We are all very grateful and couldn’t recommend more highly! Thanks so much Natalie and the ITU team!

User

We had afternoon tea there that was bought for us by son-in-law and daughter service was excellent food was excellent would Recommend it well worth a visit lots to see and do around the harbour

User

This place is incredible! The staff are so friendly, the food is amazing and service is quick! They are very dog friendly and I visit here very often. Would highly recommend!

User

Supper there on Sunday evening, sat outside, lovely bubbly waitress food was very tasty and came on hot plates, yes there can be a queue at the counter, but if customers were a little more patient the service and quality of food is excellent, this is now a regular place we like to eat at. Do not agree with negative comments on here either.

User

Really lovely place to eat and admire the views

User

My wife and I visited the The Boat Cafe yesterday the first impression you get of the aestablishment was very pleasing on the eye as we entered we were greeted by a smiling member of staff and directed to our seat where we were handed a menu the selection was very good and we settled for the boat house club sandwich and two mugs hot chocolate we thoroughly enjoyed this ,the food was very tasty and well presented we would recommend this this cafe to our friends

User

Just had coffee which was very tasty, will definately call again, maybe for a snack. Lovely location

User

I come here with my 2 young daughters and husband a lot. The food is lovely, brilliant value even a setting that makes you feel like it’s much more..... The severe car from the waiters is always with a smile and you can take your dog in or outside where there is a beautiful seating area. There is so much to look at and watch. Fab walks up towards Chichester too.

User

Great location. Outdoor seating (indoor aswell!) where you can soak up the view of the boats. Very good breakfast and free parking. Toilets are really high quality too! Highly recommended for a stop off.

User

Bacon in a brioche bun.... best ever. Beautiful setting

Unfortunately a lot of wasps around on the day we went but will definitely be returning

User

Absolutely love it here, they do a great breakfast and we are here most weekends for the breakfast. The lunchtime/daytime menus are great too, the burger is amazing as are the club sandwiches and steak ciabatta. The cream tea is a steal at £10 as it's all freshly made to order and always a great choice of sandwiches. The evening bistro menu can be a bit hit or miss, but can usually find something that I like. Coffee is good also, the only downside is the amount of bees and wasps that you get outside but this is being dealt with; as there are now several traps around outside. But nothing that would deter me from going, staff are always so polite and helpful, although some of the younger male staff don't always know what's going on and seem a bit clueless at times . But still everyone is human, and as long as I get my order in a reasonable amount of time and they don't get the orders wrong, what does it matter.

User

Waited for 3/4hr for food when. Staff realised their error excellent food and service at no charge. Thankyou. It’s not about what happens it’s about the way it was sorted out thankyou 11/10

User

Had supper here on Monday night - didn't book but got a table fine. I don't agree with some of the negative reviews on here. We had a very tasty meal served with a smile. I get the impression that they perhaps do not train their staff very well or regularly which is not fair on them - that is the only reason I can think people may give a less favourable review. It's a great spot, there's plenty of staff, the food is yummy and I think it's a great meeting point and shouldn't be disregarded. I intend to visit here many more times.

User

Visited yesterday evening as it was recommended as the place to go in Chichester. Lovely place in a lovely setting with beautiful views. Unfortunately the service wasn’t up to much. It started off well but after our main course we were left sitting for an eternity before our plates were cleared and then we had to ask if we could order dessert. Our desserts and coffee arrived together. Surely coffee should come after dessert. Not sure what was going on as it wasn’t particularly busy. Quite disappointing bearing in mind this was recommended.

User

Just got charged £3.60 for a 275ml Becks Blue! Ouch..... you can buy a box of 12 for 7.50 in the shops. That's one fat margin!

User

Enjoyed our visit to the Boat House yesterday, but half an hour earlier we went in and waited as per the notice for someone to show us to a table,no one acknowledged us at all so we left,to return later with the family,it was less busy & someone immediately showed us to a table & what we had was enjoyed, BUT a simple acknowledgement the first time round was all that was required as had there been an alternative venue we may have tried there first!

User

I have mixed feelings about the place, hence my rating. First visit for lunch was wonderful - great food and good service. Second visit was for breakfast, which I could only describe as mediocre at best. Cold, waterlogged poached eggs and a very uninspiring, unappetising looking eggs benedict. Setting is second to none though...

User

Gluten free people BEWARE. Even when I double checked that the order went through as gluten free it arrived on the plate not gluten free and was sent back creating a further 20 min wait and the manager did not even come out and apologise. Unacceptable!

User

Unfortunately it was the worst vegan meal I have ever tasted! When I told the server this his reply was ok I’ll pass it on! Will not be returning.
