yesterday for my birthday lunch i was very welcomed went and sat down drinks did not have to wait long food was amazing definitely come back again

What a great meal. Lovely setting and service was superb. One of the best steaks IвАЩve ever eaten. Location is great and parking nearby. Price was reasonable and we all had a great time. If I lived closer it would be my local !

Went in for a glass of water to take a headache tablet and the lady at the bar was so nice and kind we stayed for a couple of drinks. Then ended up having lunch and a bottle. Great staff, very friendly. Can't wait to go back again. Thank you to everyone.

We didnвАЩt book in advance but weвАЩre greeted by extremely courteous staff and made to feel very welcome. Our order was taken promptly and we were served with a most delicious meal of Piri piri king prawns with chorizo followed by the thickest cod steak I have ever eaten! My wifeвАЩs starter and main course was equally enjoyable! Certainly not cheap - but excellent value worth every penny! Will visit again.

Thanks for a great night. Even though you were extremely busy, the staff managed to cope and get the food out to us in good time, all of which was of great quality. The staff also still managed to have a bit of light hearted banter. We had a great time.

Really enjoyed the super fresh seafood, the prompt friendly service and the beautiful tranquil setting, which made for a relaxing birthday treat. Will definitely be back xx

Lovely food, yes maybe a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for and also have the lovely setting.... Always great 'hands on' service and top quality food. Had the best tasting mussels today, a beautiful sauce. Forget the other negative comments, it's a wonderful place пњљ

I love this place,my favorite in Christchurch. I immediately felt home when I get there, warm atmosphere and good music. I had few great cocktails. Perfect service, and great knowledge of mixology science. It was a pleasure try the different cocktails that Andy ( the barman) mixed for me. It's rare finds someone so passionate for his work and with his talent! Definitely I'll come back!

Have been a number of times, always great food & good service, & last weekend was no exception. Went down for some drinks & food in the sun & really enjoyed ourselves. Always the place I go to to catch up with friends when visiting Christchurch!

Great place to go anytime of year but lovely at a weekend when they have live music. Food amazing, great staff and service and they like dogs too. The Thai curry is a must!

Great place . Food is great and fast & staff is great . Toilets are modern and clean. Open air and great view even if you are in doors. Live music and all you want after main curse without you needing to go to bar as all is ordered ones you get your seat

Another fantastic event tonight in the Chandelier Bar - Dynamic Women in Business love coming to this venue! The food and drink is always fab, and the service is second to none - highly recommended!

Went for coffee and cake and to feed the kids, their pizzas were delicious and went down very well. Hubbys cake was nice, I had the gluten free millionaires shortbread which was awful. Whoever made it forgot the caramel and the biscuit was terrible. If it wasnвАЩt for that IвАЩd give 5stars because I had my birthday there last year and it was brilliant!!

We tried to book a table got told there werenвАЩt any so had to sit on the outside. Got the feeling that the staff didnвАЩt really want us there! Service wasnвАЩt particularly good! Food was nice. While we were eating some people came and said that they didnвАЩt think they would get in as they phoned really late!!! We tried booking the day before! Got the impression that it was more for regular customers than outsiders!

Unfortunately when we arrived just before 7pm it was very busy - there were 8 of us with 4 children all aged 10 + . The service was very good but unfortunately the kitchen were clearly struggling and our food took 45 minutes or more to come after ordering. Fortunately the food was very good - the burgers and fish and chips all excellent ( sadly ran out of mussels but clearly they had been very busy) the chocolate ice cream was very good according to the children as week the puddings (sadly had enough out of chocolate brownies too). Overall however we did enjoy the meal and would definitely go back again.

The only thing that let it down was the not so happy waitress.... and I wasn't impressed with her dirty hands grabbing at the cutlery to then give us it, not very hygienic!

Really love this place and have been a few times but today I felt that the staff were really trying to rush us through our meal which was a shame.



IвАЩd met with a friend for lunch and we had so much to talk about but about 3 different servers constantly interrupted us every few mins, I guess they think itвАЩs good customer service but I just found it really irritating.

Went in for lunch but unfortunately they had forgotten our order and after 30 mins when we asked about it we didn't have time to wait for the food to be cooked. The waitress was very apologetic and didnt charge us for the two drinks consumed. The food did look good and I would certainly give it another try, but would chase up the food order after 15 mins. Great location and outer conservatory has infra red heaters so you can sit and enjoy the views.

Lovely venue for drinks/eats. We were just having drinks this time. Only gripe is why have live music, it's too small and we couldn't hear each other. It was much better with just the background music, so we left!

Great Location ... but you pay for this. Very pricey for what you get... and very long wait.

Went for my sister in laws 40th with the family, the food order we placed 3 days before got lost, they sat us with 3 children and a 6 week old baby in the direct sunshine. It took 20 minutes after arival for our drinks order to be taken and another 30 minute for food to come. My partner had to keep standing up every time they brought anything to the table due to the seating set up. Then the food was swimming in grease. The staff we arrogant and not helpful at all, they do not seem to enjoy working there either as they all seemed miserable. I would advise finding a different place to eat and drink.

Went for breakfast on food festival Sunday and found the service very poor , waited awhile to b served and then the waitress forgot half the order even though she had electronic ordering device. Drinks were very slow arriving even though there was plenty of staff . Even after asking for the bill 2 other staff asked us if we required anything else. Food only average too , will not b eating here again

Very tasty food, but sadly poor service meant we left on a sour note. One of the party ordered a pizza without onion, unfortunately it arrived with onions on. When pointed out to the waitress she asked if we were sure we ordered without onions before offering a cursory sorry in an abrupt manner. No offer to make amends.

The manager made a very big deal about the chef being unable to do chunky Chips with our fish for one reason or another pathetic any decent chef would not serve skinny fries with a dish advertised as cod & chips no peas either. Drinks take a while to arrive it's a little bit exspensive but that's to be expected because of the setting next we visit Christchurch we'll dine somewhere else !!!!
