CLINIC UPDATE:
In light of today's announcement from the government, The Body Sage Clinic is now closed until further notice.
Some plain and straight forward advice from my favourite medical YouTuber, and some dancing!
Unsurprisingly, I didn't get a reply 😆
NEWS!
The Phase Two update, or at least that's what I'm calling it, of my website has begun. As a result, there may be some inconsistencies across some pages over the coming weeks. The main goal is to provide a smoother and simpler user experience for mobile users as this is how most people interact with my site. There are other general improvements in the works that will cover all platforms, but the mobile experience will be the main focus. So, in the short-term, there may be some things appear, disappear, and re-appear while new features are tested and added. Online booking will be unaffected as it's a separate entity that operates via a plugin.
If you have any thoughts or suggestions, I'm all ears!

About half of those bacteria are unknown to science.Factoid of the Day: On average you have about 3000 different types of bacteria living in your belly button. It's not often that you get a 5 Star review from someone who has never been a customer.
Do they just really love me that much? Understandable, I suppose. 😁 Maybe they've just started their career at leavingrubbishreviewsforbusinesses dot com, and they haven't quite grasped the principle yet? Equally plausible.
I now have to write them a reply thanking them for their review, asking if it's genuine, who they are, apologising if I'm in error, asking them to clarify the review, a...sking them to remove it if they left it by mistake or on purpose, and hope they don't change their review. 🙄
Any thoughts before I invite Mr Cock-Up to tea?

You've stumbled into a hole. To stop it happening again, do you put a barrier around the hole, cover the hole or fill the hole? All three are valid solutions, but only the latter removes the hole altogether. Office-based exercise equipment is a solution to the problem. However, it merely covers the hole rather than actually fix it.
Physical Education in schools isn't what it used to be.
To Goop or not to Goop?
The desk seems somewhat unnecessary!
I'm pretty sure that my largely Keto, intermittent fasting and British produce based diet has less impact on the environment than a plant-based diet. It's most likely less in terms of food miles without even looking at deforestation and food monocultures.
Just sayin' 🙂
Oh no, this definitely isn't a fake photo. Desk treadmills are a real thing!
It's nice to see there are more and more exercise sessions available locally for the more "mature" exercisers out there. 😁
Many health organisations around the world now consider red meats and processed meats to be extremely unhealthy while simultaneously recommending the Mediterranean Diet. A diet that is, and somewhat ironically, high in red and processed meats!
If there's one thing I've learned from indulging in my secret fetish of reading scientific studies on diet for the last 25'ish years is that there are no facts. All the conclusions to the studies presented by the scientists all contain the words "may", "could" and "requires further study". Everything I knew 20 years ago is now wrong and everything I know now is either already wrong, deeply subjective, or will be wrong based on further study. For almost every study I read ther...e's another study contradicting it or another group of scientists rejecting the study based on its motivation or subjective nature. The truth is that it is extremely hard to prove anything when it comes to diet, and the less scrupulous out there want to use science to lend credence to their particular narrative. Why? Money, fame and notoriety mainly. There's a lot to be gained from being the next diet and fitness guru, and as such many are willing to try and manipulate the game in their favour. Which, unfortunately, makes it even more confusing for us the general public. All we can do is continue to make the best choices we can with the best information we have at our disposal and be wary of anyone or any organisation claiming that their facts are better than other peoples facts, unless in the extremely rare case that there is concrete evidence to their facts.

An Ox isn't big and strong because it's a vegan. It's big and strong because it's an Ox. Its genetic evolution has made it this way. Humans must eat based on the fact that we are humans and that there are specific vitamins, minerals and amino acids that we have to source from our diet because our body cannot make them. For example, cats can make Vitamin C without consuming it externally, while humans can't and thus why we must consume it in our diet. Whether your a vegan, vegetarian, carnivore or omnivore, ignore the propaganda and let your common sense prevail.
Until yesterday I'd never roasted Brussel Sprouts before, but I'll certainly be doing it again. They were excellent and surprisingly sweet. I've added a recipe to follow just in case covering sprouts in salt, pepper and oil, and roasting them is beyond your cooking knowledge 😆
