had an amazing weekend here, the sun was shining, lots of happy campers, showed the England game outside the bar. Perfect, will be returning very soon :)

User

We have had a fabulous week. (I cheated as had to work tues-fri) but Hubby & Daughter stayed and cycled everywhere. We ate twice in the restaurant- family travelled from Seaton Sluice just to eat with us both times 10/10 for the food. We packed up early to miss the rain good job we did!

See you all again soon!

Stayed here for 3 nights on the 30th of Jan with our 2 dogs site is very basic but we had electric & water. Food was excellent & very friendly staff, camping was very well priced as we left we already decided we will be back for new year next year!! Linda & Neil are lovely could not ask for better hosts

User

Really enjoyed my stay on the May Bank Holiday weekend. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Only grumble i have is about the electric going off in the middle of the night on both nights. Other than that, the staff were great and friendly. I love that you can have a fire. Great location. And an all round tidy site. Well priced.

User

My new favourite place to come been for just for a night here and there over the past couple of weeks and love it! Really friendly people and food is lovely.

User

Lovely site, very clean and well kept and the facilities are lovely. Plenty of hot water and clean. Stayed here for 2 nights this weekend and we got a warm welcome. Didn’t stay for food (although we wish we had of as it looked amazing). Will 100% be back in the school holidays.

User

Love going here , the owners and staff are lovely and really make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and couldn’t ask for a better breakfast either .

Wild camping is definitely for us , everyone enjoying their camp fires and BBQ’s , a great atmosphere with no stuffy rules ... you actually can relax , a rarity among campsites well done Boe Rigg

Just returned from camping at the boerigg and we didn't want to leave! A total hidden gem and so pleased we booked to go there perfect place very helpful owners food was amazing and to top it of fantastic weather we will definitely return to one of my new fav places

User

Just had the best 2 night stay here. Couldn't wish for anything more in a campsite - clean, well maintained facilities, space for the kids to play around, little stream to plodge in and a rope swing. Food in the restaurant was lovely too. I was a bit worried with having an onsite bar it may feel a bit like a club house kind of place (been to a site like this before and never again!) but it was so chilled out and no drunken rowdiness at all. We will most definitely return!

User

Just had a great few days staying in the family room whilst training with riever sporting game. Good clean accommodation great food friendly staff look forward to returning next year

Just had a great few days staying at The Boe Rigg while training with Riever Sporting Game. Stayed in the family rooms that were ideal.

Friendly staff, great food in beautiful surroundings. Hope to visit again next year.

User

Just had a fantastic 4 nights at Boe Rigg. The campsite is perfectly located and is central to everything. In the 4 days we were there we managed to cover Keilder Water, Ullswater, visit a Roman fort, walk along some of Hadrians wall, explore Alnwick castle and get some fish and chips in Amble. The local village of Bellingham has all the amenities you need including a lovely bakery, numerous tea shops and the beginning of a number of walks. The campsite is in a beautiful location and has excellent facilities. The bar and restaurant are reasonably priced and the food is great. It was lovely being able to chat to locals and other campers in the evening. The kids loved being able to have a campfire every night and play in the little stream onsite. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a great week xx

User

Just about to check out of The Boe Rigg, had a lovely stay in their self catering apartment with my wife and our 12week old daughter. They went out their way to source a travel cot for us and let us borrow the ironing board. The apartment was lovely, nice and warm and decent shower. We stayed here to go to a wedding at Otterburn Castle. Good commuting distance. Would stay again, nothing was too much trouble for the staff!

User

Great little place , friendly atmosphere , made to feel welcome , good food , camp fires allowed

User

Fantastic campsite with really lovely, friendly & welcoming staff. Great ‘wild’ pitch by a stream in stunning landscape. Wonderful, clean and piping hot showers perfect after tacking the 42k kielder lakeside mountain bike trail! Nothing like cooking tea on an open fire!! Thank you so much for an amazing few days. Highly recommend this site & will definitely be returning!

User

Can't thank Boe rigg enough for making my wedding so perfect, you's all went above and beyond and everything looked amazing. The food was delicious and the staff were excellent!!!

User

Amazing food great staff.

Would highly reccomend to anyone wanting fantastic food at a fantastic price.

Can't wait to be back in 2 weeks time for my daughter's wedding

User

After a two nights stay, we feel relaxed and refreshed. Such a wonderful peaceful break. The room was well equipped, the restaurant was spacious, and the views were out of this world. Thank you so much for the friendly welcome and I have to say...try the beer batter fish and chips...to die for. Highly recommend this central location, a welcome sight after watching our friend race in the #kielderchiller24 Looking forward to our next visit

User

7 of us stayed at The Boe Rigg in their family rooms, when we came to train our dogs at the Riever sporting game for three days.

The rooms were clean, fresh and nicely decorated, with good bedding and towels, there was some noise in the corridor till around 11.30pm, campers using the fercilites. We had good car parking spaces.

The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner is excellent, the service was swift, with friendly staff.

I highly recommend the sirloin steak. We would definitely comeback, if we were training up there again.
