Our way to celebrate Friday! 😏
Catalan seafood and red pepper stew, toasted sourdough! We get to be asked if the taste is as good as the photos. It’s understandable but the answer is no. No because it tastes so much better than it looks and there is always someone there to share the food with. 😌#lunchtime🍴 #newdishes #seafood #sharefood #delicious #goodfood#hospitalitylife #thebotanistonsloanesquare

This place does scrambled eggs and Salmon on toast just like my dad used to do them. And it don't get better than that. It's been 30years since I last enjoyed a breakfast like this one. Excellent place to eat and relax.
The staff. I love the staff and the lady with the blond hair is fantastic!
The food at this place is INCREDIBLE!! Friendly staff and great atmosphere. I love the fact that the staff were always smiling. Makes a change.
The best food, the best service, the best atmosphere. Love it
Service - Outstanding!
Atmosphere - Comfortbale and elegant!
Location - Right in the centre of Chelsea, easily accessible
Phenomenal service ! Great drinks and fantastic service ! I highly recommend this place To everyone who wants a good drink and atmosphere
One of the best place in Chelsea, always was treated nicely and had the most amazing cocktail here even I’m a fussy costumer, the atmosphere is great, the last time I’ve choose a non alcoholic cocktail was as good as I wanted, the manager was a bit grumpy but one of he’s bartender the Italian one make it up .
Thank you guys
Once again, a superb meal. Classy, chilled vibe and excellent waiting staff! Thank you. A birthday meal to remember!
Most amazing aquatic style wall paper was soothing and calming in art deco style glamour... loved it here...
Lunch with 4 friends around 2pm on the 15th December. I had the soecial which was pigs cheeks black pudding and scallops with some trimmings , it should be a menu staple. Absolutely fantastic, had a bit of a wine connoisseur in our group and we had the most amazing experience overall. Young guy serving us was great and generally staff were nice so highly recommended.
Lovely cocktails and very friendly, helpful staff.
Just popped in pre-funeral for nibbles and a well needed drink. Although it was very busy the staff were friendly and efficient. Extensive wine and nibbles selection. Excellent location.
Incredibly good value Pre-theatre menu, with no compromise on size or quality. We both struggled to finish the three tasty and beautifully prepared courses. Just round the corner from Cadogan Hall so a must if you're visiting the Hall.
It was a warm evening and the open bi-fold windows created a welcoming cool continental feel.
I really recommend this place for chilling out at the bar and for the tempting menu offered! The staff was very kind and well organized. Loved it!
Great place to meet drink and eat. Just over the road from John Lewis so a great place to relax having finished your shopping
Excellent staff and superb cocktails, it's a friendly vibrant place to drink and chat, and I think it will now be a regular destination to visit.
Excellent food and drink. Loved it. The Gin Carafes were excellent value. Staff were great.
Best mussels I’ve ever had!!! Lovely night in Sloane Square.
Absolutely wonderful, great food, service and atmosphere
Wine and beer were lovely. Price not so much as 2 minutes up the road same thing was £5 cheaper. Guess we were paying for the location!! Staff were friendly and atmosphere was nice
Very busy with a good vibe, although it was a case of see a table and rugby tackle everyone else to get there first 😂 just drank champagne so cannot comment on food but all in all a lively place to watch the works go by.
Staff was very good my starter was very good Desert was beautiful but my main was planned no flavour and my guest ordered chips and didn't get them but the staff was good it was very Busy
One of my favourite haunts, great place for drinks, or for meals and drinks in a vibrant ambience!!
Lovely food and drinks, cannot fault the cooking or beautiful cocktails, had one of those 'mmmmmmm this is so good' moments!!! ; although the service was a little below par.
When we sat down, asked what we would like....
no menu was provided. How would we know what was on it!? Telepathy?
When ordering food, waiter looked confused as if he hadn't heard of the botanist breakfast; a firm favourite; so had to point all of our food orders out on the menu. (Maybe a language barrier?)
Also, 17 minutes to wait for a latte is a little extreme.
Great place, great food and happy my rescue doggie was aloud in too. I'll be back again.
Great meal...really good quality food and service! Pity our meal was spoiled by the very noisy group of American ladies at the table next to us....we couldn't hear each other through the cacophony of over the top yelling that was going on next to us! A great meal spoilt by fellow guests sadly.....if this is normal then I won't be back!!
Food was fabulous and would have awarded 5stars except my partner and I arrived 40 mins early for our table. We gave the name of booking then we sat having coffee in reception area for 30 mins and the waitress didn't tell us our business associate was already waiting for us at the table which was a bit embarrassing as it appeared we were late
All pretty good apart from very little for me to eat as a vegan and then when we adjusted a salad by taking cheese off they still charged me full price slightly disappointing.
Not my favourite place. So noisy, and despite having the pre-theatre menu, we had to dash out before we'd finished desert. Nice staff though.
The refurb looks terrible, cheap and poorly designed, I think they were attempting a "Gattsby' type look, but the poor quality of the materials used to achieve the effect really doesn't help. The place resembles a spot in Leicester Square now as opposed to Sloane Square... And the service has really gone down hill, with many of the bar staff struggling to pay the correct level of attention for what are lets be honest, drinks at then very high end of the price scale in London. Shame, used to be one of my fave spots and I would regularly spend many an evening in there. Now it will mostly be for a quick drink while I wait for friends to go on elsewhere nearby...
The food was a bit tasteless, and not very filling. I was starving about 1 hrs later. The cocktails weren't very strong either.
Staff all stood around for ages not bothering to see if anyone needed serving. The breakfast food and drinks lovely when finally got to order and served items in back to front order. It wasn't even busy 3-4 tables.
No where near as nice as the other botanist's I've been too. Poor choice of cocktails and slow service. Wouldn't go in again.
I miss that Italian guy fulvio, he is funny and charming, the Botanist isn't the same without him, I hope he returns from his travels soon so I too can return, shame to spend my money elsewhere.
After a disasterous experience for my 40th at the Aviary i was invited to try another of their venues. So yesterday we tried the Botanist. The girl at the door was rude, when I asked to move our table forward by an hour I was directed to the bar. Order a round of drinks for 3 people and some nuts was £34 - pricey but standard for London! But When I then ordered two more wines same price!!! Having corrected that error we were then sat in the restaurant. Manager was nice but was all a bit late really. Defo won’t go back.
Very poor service due to too few staff to service all the tables, haphazard delivery of food - sides arrived, 2 mins later the steak but as we had not plates until we asked we still couldn't eat. A poor experience - very disappointed but fixable with a significant improvement in staffing and staff training
The place is no longer any good since the refurbishment. The regulars now drink at the Colbert across the road, much better place. The good staff have left too. The drinks are over priced considering the bar is no more than a weatherspoons atmosphere in a nice part of town. The food portions are also too small for the price. New staff do not have the same sense of job satisfaction and enjoyment as the staff of years gone by.
Stopped with my partner yesterday at the restaurant for breakfast & I wasn’t pleased with the food it was horrible for the price
Not sure what has happened of late to what was our favourite haunt in Chelsea. I've been a regular customer for the past 5 years, our favourite staff members seem to have left so the service has dropped dramatically. At one time I was spending a few hundred pounds a week there now I might have the odd drink and leave very quickly. Tables in the bar area not cleared, non-existent service some evenings. A refurbishment was promised months back and the place is looking very tatty indeed. The doormen are lovely as ever but the whole ambiance and lack of management has ruined what was so very special. 2 key members of waiter service left, one has stayed (JB who is amazing) - we always tip well so get excellent treatment however when he is not there the service is appalling. Please bring back Fulvio and Victoria plus the old manager Callum is my advice. So disappointed but they've lost my custom so we prefer the Colbert which still retains high standard of service.....and respect our loyalty to the utmost. Seems like the Botanist is being run in to the ground and I can't think why, it use to be amazing.
