The Fourmasons hit The Bottle Garden once again for their monthly residency - Jazz on A Sunday Afternoon. This month's guests are Ka Safar - a 10 piece, transcendental astro-jazz arkestra, in the vein of Sun Ra, playing the music of Alice Coltrane, Joe Henderson and Pharaoh Sanders. So join us for a chilled afternoon of cocktails, antipasti and smooth jazz, we can't wait!

Looks set to be a busy one at BG tonight! If you haven’t had a response from us, unfortunately we can’t guarantee you a table due to a large amount of bookings, but we always take as many walk ins as possible, so hopefully we’ll see you tonight! P.S. we have new plants on the way and they’re lush 🌿

This place is great! A good addition to the Leicester bar scene. Cocktails are tasty and it’s one of the few places that does table service!�� A special shout out to our waiter Joe who went out of his way to ensure we had a good time and the best drinks! � Good customer service can’t be taken for granted anymore these days but this place does it well � I haven’t been during the day time but think it would make a lovely stop for a coffee and cake in a pretty setting.

Small but perfectly formed. Just popped in on the off chance one Sunday afternoon, as there was a jazz band and the place looked beautiful. We couldn’t get a table ( no problem the place is small) so we sat at the bar.. had a nice coffee. It’s the sort of place that makes you want to get on the guest list, cool and chic, I like that, it makes you feel special, which is kind of the point of emptying your pockets isn’t it? Lol



The best part it was so far apart from anything else in Leicester.. I felt I was in some cosmopolitan city. That a lot of vibes go pick up over a coffee lol so we’ll done

Lovely place, friendly staff and a great drinks menu! Be sure to book before you go on busy times though and don't just assume you can get in (like the guy below!)

Had trouble finding information about this event and venue, eventually came upon some limited info on Facebook. No website or telephone number. We really enjoyed jazz on a Sunday afternoon, hope to return in the future. Could I make a suggestion thinking about the future and the environment - replace plastic straws with paper ones.

Had a lovely evening with friends here. Great variety of drinks and cocktails, really cool decor, lovely staff and table service. Made being in out in town on a Friday night a real pleasure. Look froward to another visit.

Booked a table for a Saturday night, great interior, cocktails were superb and the music/ atmosphere was fabulous! Loved the special touch of how they reserve a table makes you feel extra special!

Having seen this place on FB there was no mention you have to book a table... So fortunately when we arrived there was one we could use for an hour �

Lovely place & lovely staff. We liked the option to book a table for live Jazz, and did so requesting a downstairs table.

Unfortunately when we arrived there was only an upstairs table �

Not much point sitting upstairs when the band is downstairs �

I will book again next time, and if there's not a downstairs table I'm afraid I won't go back.

I watched the barman serve drinks, use the till, and then put fruit in my drink using his hands.

Not very hygienic Bottle Garden, given you serve cocktails. You need to train the staff to observe hygiene regulations and use tonges.

Overall I really like this place, but feel I need to watch them make my drinks in future.....

It was ok, nice place, terrible service, been waiting for our cocktail order for over 20mins, I could of ordered a meal in this time....

Having previously loved this place, friend's and I emailed them a couple of days ago for a table of 6 on Saturday night for a birthday. Now, there's no contact number to ring them so the only means of contact is Facebook or email, which for a customer service business shocks me. And when we did email we didn't receive the common courtesy of a reply so we assumed everything was okay. We arrived at the door where it says wait to be seated and there was nobody on the door. We waited 5 minutes and nobody came to greet us (felt like there were plenty of staff but they were choosing to ignore us). So we eventually went up to the bar where there was about 5 members of staff who again avoided eye contact. FINALLY we were greeted by an unsmiley server and i told her we'd booked but we didn't get a reply to our email. She checked the sheet and was rudely told well if you didn't get a confirmation email its not booked. I said it would have been nice to get a reply. Her response; sorry i understand but I’m just the messenger. She said we could sit outside if there were seats but was so unimpressed with the lack of service and attitude we took our custom elsewhere (the Gadabout; where you are treated nicely and efficiently and in my opinion gets it so right). Won't be coming back here in a hurry or recommending friend's to go here. Which is a shame because it had had so much potential. Thing is, with plenty of nice cocktail bars round the corner, there are plenty of alternative options, and thats where we went.
