Poor service, if you're not a regular not much chance of getting service with a smile or at any speed
Visited the boundary for a formal evening in a function room . Had drinks in the pub bar first goid choice of real ales and was very busy due to the event that was on.
Good sized rooms with both bath and shower. Free WiFi automatically when selected from options. Comfortable beds, free coffee, heating as required. Meals (and drinks) at adjacent pub. Full English breakfast included in price. I had lovely two course lunch for just £4.95. Better if you drive as it's an uphill walk from train station!!
I and my family came to this hotel to stay overnight while visiting relatives. When we first arrived at the hotel it turned out that the website we had booked with had not accounted for the hotel being overbooked and, as a result of this, our family of 5 were cooped up in a room together (I had to sleep next to the hotel door). The food was not too great either. However the main issue was the music which is still blaring till the time that I am writing this review (11:30pm). Due to the location of our room we are right above this music and not only did my little brother struggle to sleep but I am starting to be driven slightly mad by the crappy rave music being played. Pretty much don't come here if an event is on as it will disrupt your sleep and your sanity. Anyway I'm going to try and sleep through music comparable to human feces. Goodnight.

My partner and I went for an evening meal and both had the wild west burger with a pint of beer. The staff were friendly and the food arrived promptly. We both enjoyed our food. Couldnt pick fault with anything whilst we were there.
Went for a quick bite to eat and as it was a Thursday it was quiet so go served quickly. Meal came quickly too and was very nicely presented, hot and tasty.
Good value for money. Professional and nice staff, great breakfast and lovely room. But there was a party at night until around 11pm which quite noisy for us to sleep.
