What a horrible day will it ever stop raining however the sun is shining in the boundary just spent a pleasant afternoon with good beer great company and a wonderful meal to top it off great service and good prices for pub food looking forward to sampling the new menu in the next few weeks now where's my umbrella

Well what can I say! This was a last minute booking for 25+ people, I mean 3 days notice for all the staff to accommodate us at such short notice was excellent! Food was served in less than a hour for all of us! Patient with the children as we are a Football family! Excellent meals, great value for money! Superb staff from bar service straight through to the chef included! Highly recommend!

We had our daughters christening here yesterday and can not thank The Boundary enough for everything that was done to make the day as special as it was. From the beautiful decor of the room, to the gorgeous selection of hot & cold food! Fantastic service at the bar and Josh couldnŌĆÖt have done any more to make us feel welcome, often checking in to have a tidy round and make sure everybody was ok. We will definitely use the function room again and will return to eat in the restaurant. Thank you again! ’┐Į

We book here for Christmas Day everything was great the food was amazing , they was a group of us all the staff was very helpful , the only one negative thing I would say was the table was to close together , and find it hard getting in and out , the great service and food made up for it . Will be returning soon xx

Me and my husband always come here. The staff are lovely and friendly never had a problem. Had our wedding reception here in May and loved it. They let me come in and dress the room listened to how I wanted the day to go Josh couldnŌĆÖt off done a better job helping me set everything up! Even the evening do upstairs was great. Would definitely recommend!!!

Just had an amazing Christmas meal here. I had ham hock starter which was delicious, then the ox cheek. Wow! It melted in the mouth. Beautifully cooked. Chocolate torte for dessert was fab too. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a beautiful family meal. There were 21 of us and the service was fantastic. Meals all came together and were hot and tasted amazing at a good price.

Wonderful service , happy and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Had an amazing family meal here today. So much to choose from on the menu as well as specials. Large portions (should come with a warning!). Meal was superb. Found a little space to order a dessert and had cheese & biscuits (don't see this very often now) .....again didn't disappoint. The lady serving was very friendly & served us quickly. Would recommend to anyone ....will be going back again.

Fantastic steak meal.. the onion rings to die for. Attentive staff, good selection of wine and beers.

Fabulous! Came here Sunday for my dad's birthday and there was 16 of us. We all got our food at the same time and the service was outstanding. . Great food as well.

Fab day yesterday for my nieces christening room was gorgeous and food amazing. Spring rolls to die for ’┐Į’┐Į. Thanks for all that you did to make our little ladies day so special.

Called in this evening for a meal birthday treat for me and the mrs. The food was tasty and well presented. The staff were very good and informative, Overall excellent food, service and value for money.

Arrived at the boundary tonight for a family meal after not been for quite sometime with moving to Blackpool we was served by Vikki who was very friendly although she was on her own the service was very good and the food was excellent. Well recommended only disappointing thing was no horns on the cow pie. Bring back the pastry horns. Thankyou Vikki

First stepped inside this pub with my Dad nigh on 40 yrs ago so felt like a real bit of nostalgia as I don't live locally anymore. I used to live in a literal sense, next door as a young lad.

Pub was quiet on a Sat a'noon unfortunately.

Fair play to the chef though as he/she conjured up some bloody ace grub & in good proportions too. Went down a treat with a couple of jars.

V nice to pop into the Boundary & it looks to be in good hands; I hope the locals support/enjoy it to ensure it stays as a fine amenity. Cheers! ’┐Į’┐Į

Visited with Friends for lunch got there just after one There was no one else in the restaurant 3 gammon meals and a fish ordered very slow service took almost half an hour Gammon very thin slices and overlooked apple crumble had sultanas in it which wasn't mentioned on the menu and custard came in a metal dish and small pan in my opinion too large after a large meal non of us finished it Would have been better half the quantity Finally got out 2 and 1/2 hours later would I go back probably not

Worst place to eat, lack of communication poor service and average food! If you want something don't bother ordering it as you get the complete opposite and get charged more than what it states on the menu and rude staff that couldn't care less, came here to celebrate the life of our late nana and it was absolutely appalling if the manager had actually cared maybe I wouldn't of had to write this review and our Nana's birthday meal wouldn't have been ruined! Absolutely disgusting

I very rarely leave reviews, but I cannot let this horrendous experience lie. Seven of us visited The Boundary for a late relatives birthday who had recommended here before her passing. She would have been appalled by the service and food quality we received today.



Initially, I was quite impressed with the layout and the set up of the place but as they say, looks can be deceptive.



Some of the party ordered starters which they were happy with and commented as such to the waiter when asked if everything was ok. It went down hill from here.



We ordered in four separate bills and the food came out at mixed times and in mixed bills. My food came out first with the food from another bill at the other end of the table. My food was ok but no staff at any point came to ask if we were satisfied. Contrary to the arrogant response which can be seen on another one star review today from the same party.



For the manager to reply to a one star review with lies and mistruths is amazing and something I have never seen before or will again no doubt. A twenty percent discount on food for our bill did not cover half the cost of the offending food item which caused the complaint, nor did it go anyway to sorting out the problem.



Do not think for one second that any of the seven that have visited today will again, neither will our other family members, friends and work colleagues.



Please, continue your business the way you are and suffer the consequences as a result because treating customers like rubbish will never lead to repeat custom.



Avoid this place like the plague!

Absolutely shocking service just been on for fathers day 1 chicken was bleeding! A main didn't come out with the rest so 2 people have had nothing to eat the 2 of my kids puddings didn't come out as they forgot them eat here quite often and can honestly say never will again terrible service and we weren't the only ones comparing either most other tables were and best they could do was take off the 2 meals we were missing!!!!

Absolute shite. First and only visit here. Reasonable decor. How long does it take to warm 2 x cheese & onion pies, fry some chips and microwave some beans? More than hour apparently, so difficult in fact that people who came in after us got their food first. After half an hour we questioned where the food was to be told by the waitress that the pies were in the oven! So we hadn't been forgotten but they NEVER arrived. They did manage however to serve other people who came in after us (when the place was empty) with their food.



Abysmal. God help us if we'd ordered two courses for ┬Ż10.95!



I would've given ZERO stars for this place, but that wasn't an option unfortunately.
