About The Brocket Consort
The Brocket Consort was founded in 1991. The group of eight to ten singers all live in the St. Albans and Harpenden area of Hertfordshire. Many of its members also sing with leading choirs including The Sixteen, The Taverner Consort, The Cambridge Singers, The Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, Joyful Company of Singers and St. Albans Abbey Choir.
The Consort enjoys performing a wide variety of music from Palestrina to Pårt and is equally at home with a cappella repertoire and major choral works. Performances have included Handel's Dixit Dominus, Fauré's Requiem, Karl Jenkins' Adiemus - Songs of Sanctuary
