Went for lunch today, can only say how good it was. Friendly service from start to finish, great new menu and as for the food...... awsome! We had the southern fried chicken burger and the smoker burger. Both were cooked to perfection with crisp French fries, and served so nicely on enamel/tin style plates with a mug of fries! Unconventional but it works. Great value as well, really impressed!
We were going to go to the waxwork cafΓ© but the menu was just afternoon tea things rather than a meal so decided to pop down to the Bugle, I haven't been here for years and was very surprised, the pub is quite large really and beautifully decorated inside also had a pool table which unfortunately we only saw on the way out. It has an outside area which we sat in with a children's play area, admittedly that could do with a bit of TLC but I would happily of still have allowed my kids if they were still little to play on. A great outside space. Food was fantastic, reasonable prices and plenty of it.. staff were very accommodating and attentive. This is a real find and will definitely be heading back there soon!!!!
We was very pleased with the service & the staff was really helpful & the curry buffet was great thanks.
This is such a warm, friendly pub the staff cannot do enough for you they are amazing. The food was delicious I will definitely be going there again before my holiday ends. Thank you very much the staff at The Bugle Inn Brading.
Me and my boyfriend came to Isle Of Wight for the day, spent most the day driving around as it was our first time to the island, we were very exhausted and drained and we just drove to the nearest pub closest. It was amazing! It made our day so much better, I ordered the bugle inn burger with cheesy chips and my boyfriend ordered steak - I can't stop telling my friends & family how nice the food was! It was spot it ππ½ Service was good and fast. Not sure if I'd return purely because next time we go to the island we'd go somewhere else for the day! But if I do il come back here! Thank you! π
Lovely friendly pub. Both me and my other half are vegetarians....but fear not we found veggie food here lovely. Food ordered and on the table really quick. Only fault I can say was the coleslaw had mustsrd in ( not a favourite of mine) but that is just personal taste. Would definitely eat here again. Thanks Bugle inn x
I haven't been here for years , as I had a bad experience food whys. But WOW what a difference, amazing tasty food, great presentation. Great customer service. Really nice and cosy layout. Really really impressed. I would highly recommend coming here. We are coming back for a carvery on Sunday. Great pudding to .My daughter is a vegetarian and very fussy, and a picky eater, but all we had was clean plates and full Bellies. We will be back.
I had the duck Sizzler my mate had the mixed grill both lovely lovey warm welcome as we came through the door drinks service amazing didn't delayed to serve us went through the specials my children's meal I asked if I can variate and they were very helpful definitely back again thank you very much to the two ladies serving very professional very welcoming hope to see you again soon thank you ;) A1

Had a great meal the best we have had on the Island for a few years, it was so good were going back during the week for more.
Great now you can take (well behaved) dogs inside. See you all soon.
Great carvery and good cider very relaxed setting
Found this place when driving about looking for a place to eat with the family. Very impressed. Food was really very good. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking and reasonably priced. Will definitely ntly recommend and we will be back.
Thanks.
Absolutely lovely menu is great, a wide range of choices. Carvery was beautiful soft juicy meats and crunchie roast pots . Had burgers with chips no grease on the plate so clean. Nice price to ,staff are fab and friendly and welcome dogs and kids outside play area is great to.
Absolutely amazing service and lovely, cosy atmosphere for our daughter's Christening. Great venue for a relaxed family event. Everyone enjoyed the food and we all had a wonderful time. Thank you to Sarah and Kelly for making it stress free! Can't wait to come back for an evening meal.
A Saturday night out for the family and we were very pleased to have given the Bugle Brading another try.
We came earlier in the year and were a little underwhelmed. Since then it seems to have had a bit of a makeover, as well as a new menu, a new chef and new life to the front of house team. The pub was really busy and it's easy to see why.
Couldn't fault the service and the food was served in generous (but not excessive) portions and arrived quickly. Particularly enjoyed the burgers and we are looking forward to trying out the carvery on a future visit.
Well done to the Bugle Team, as Arnie might say - "we'll be back!"
Went there for Mother's Day (Sunday) at 14:30 - surprised to find it very quiet. However, having ordered at 14:45, it was about half an hour before our meals arrived and they were served with no apology for the wait.
Personally I had Fish, Chips and Peas and whilst the fish was very nice and hot the skinny (frozen) chips were luke-warm to say the least. I mentioned it to the waiter who collected our plates but there was no response.
It never fails to amaze me how many restaurants are unable to cook fresh chips and rely on frozen ones and these being skinny chips they soon got completely cold.
Staff could have been more helpful esp on arrival. Waited nearly an hr for 3 meals. Staff too busy talking to other staff when taking our order so things had to be repeated. Decided not to bother ordering desert as decided it would prob take too long
Nice welcome but not offered kids menus. Ordered pie of the day with chips but got it with mash. A bit expensive for what you got but definitely good
Was a nice place and food was ok (that I could eat...) I asked for the Gluten free fish cakes as I have coeliac...
The food came out and the fish was great..however the bread didn't taste right so I didn't eat it all.. . After messaging the pub after I have left I am told that I should specify with the server that I want the whole meal as gf?!?!
Thankfully I'm not to bad... but this could make people incredibly ill!
If you ask for one part of the meal to be gf it's expected that would make the entire meal gf... I'm not allergic to gluten only when it's on a fishcake!..
I definitely won't be returning.. The lack of training for staff in respect to food allergies is scary and I can see you making someone very ill!
Had friends down on leave from the army, who wanted pub food. Hadn't eaten here before, so thought we'd give it a try.
Was extremely disappointed!
We had one order of gammon, which was burnt to the point of scraping the charred bits off!
Two of us paid extra to upgrade our chips to sweet potato; he received normal chips with his meal, and I received none! So after pointing out the mistake, they went to cook us some sweet potato chips- which came out cold, dismal looking with only about 6 thin chips on the plate... By which point we'd eaten the majority of our meal.
The pub was very quite, so really no excuse for getting the orders wrong, especially if extra money had been paid for the sides!
All 4 of us were extremely disappointed with our visit; portions were small and over priced. The wait between each dish was poor, especially as cutlery didn't appear till all plates were out- meaning the first dish out was starting to go cold by the time of eating.
Regretted trying somewhere new on this occasion!
