Great value delicious food & good service. So good in fact, visited twice in two days for their homemade crumble & custard!

Recently refurbished historic pub. Parking available in front. There is a nice garden with seating with views across the Medway valley. The food we ordered was good, came quite quickly and not over priced. The beer selection wasn't bad but fairly standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice to see a lot of the historic features have been kept.

Nice big airy pub. Friendly helpful staff. Good menu really good food. Good parking and access easy for disabled people.

It was ok as pub grub goes. The vegetables were hard and the pork was very fatty and the mash was was obviously instant and very grainy. I asked for crumble and would have liked ice cream but custard was served no option given to me. My husband said his steak was beautiful. We were crammed into a small booth and it was extremely claustrophobic, they like to use all the space but customers like to be comfortable. I have been a manager in a hotel for the last 15 years so know that you did not have enough staff on today. We had our granddaughters christening a week before it closed to be refurbished and it was excellent. The only bonus was that your staff are lovely.

Newly refurbished, smart and modern looking. Food is good, just wish they didn't use frozen avocado. Good selection of beers, some ciders and wine. Service good at the bar. Waitress slightly unprofessional in being too friendly (we don't care where you live etc.) and never told us what the chef's reply to frozen avocado was.

Chilled atmosphere, unhurried and a perfect place to relax and chat

Friendly staff, half decent food. It was good to step inside from nasty cold, wet, weather. Would have liked to have tasted a few more ales but we were told the bar had been booked for a private function, so we left right after eating as we were the only people in the dining room. Might have given the establishment one extra star had the function not been in the public bar.

Nice pub, good food for the price, pleasant staff, what more could one want.
