The Bullingdon Cocktail Bar is a great place to meet before going into the live music venue. Comfy sofas and friendly staff and the Caledonian Bullingdon Ale on hand pump is very nice. The music venue is spacious with a large stage, good LED stage lighting and a good sound system that is just the right size for the venue.

Our favorite venue in Oxford. Great large stage large enough standing area, great place for sound as it doesn't bounce around. I have filmed in there many time. Been to see many bands, including The shapes, The Factory Lights, Little bother eli and their supports. Top marks

Margo Price 20th Jan. New to me but great gig. Loved a bit of Americana live here in Oxford. Nothing better than an intimate gig where you can see the singers face no matter where you stand. Great atmosphere and no hassle.

If you ever pay to get in n dont like it the manager will kindly and politely refund you...

I had the best time in my life on Saturday at the Bullingdon with my best friends . What an amazing place drinks are very good price and the service from all the staff was brilliant the made us feel so welcome, I never had this kind of service in Oxford ever that is the place to be. A massive thank you to all the and I am glad that a place like this has open in Oxford

Great venue & finally a good promoter to get some decent touring bands. Unsure why some reviews are complaining about the toilets, i'm more worried about the sound quality of the PA (which is top) rather than the toilets �.....

Great night out and lots of laughter from great comedians.

Saw Dutty Moonshine here and was a great venue, good layout to see the band and dance, and a few bars with pretty quick service. 👍🏻

Love the Bully - drank there many moons ago when they served the best Guinness. But keep putting bands on like The Slaves and Neville Staples and I will go a lot more. Get The Skint's in there!

The bar is lovely - very nuovo grunge - but the loos are awful. The rustic look would work if it wasn't falling to bits and smelt like a sewer.

Would like to see some 'local' lagers for sale.

The gig hall is cosy with hard seating so take a cushion if it's a long gig.

Another great Glee Club night but this venue is not as good as the previous one. Disappointed that we weren't allocated seats for the evening as was the case in the last place. This one felt like we were just crammed in. Arrived at the allocated time and luckily managed to get 4 seats together. Other groups were not as fortunate. Also, the toilets were not exactly in good order. From an entertainment perspective it was a fantastic night of comedy. Such a shame the venue couldn't match it.

First time back in about 10 years. The decor is pretty much the same. Unfortunately the same toilets still broken and quite grimy. The lack of air con was crippling though! But, the PYT music was good. Maybe a lick of paint and a good refresh/clean would do the job.

Went to a great dnb night (BUMP) on Saturday 10th June. But what's with the intrusive bag searches on the dancefloor? I completely understand searching bags while entering the club but once you're in you should just be able to relax and have fun and not worry about having a bouncer turn your bag inside out. I was with a friend who had every inch of her bag looked at in a really intrusive and aggressive way by a bouncer on the dancefloor. The search lasted for several minutes and was conducted without an ounce of charm. I've never seen this happen in clubs before and it really upset my friend, souring the night. Search bags when going in, not once inside. Makes for a nasty atmosphere.

We came to see the Travelling band Saturday night who were amazing, but we're cut short by your crazy 10pm curfew policy. No encores and we were herded back into the front bar and then to add insult to injury we were having a drink and the barman came and took our chairs!

Rubbish

Nothing like the old venue, dirty, sticky, toilets were disgusting and fixed with double sided tape and you felt like you were sat in school assembly, plastic cups, no tables, the acts were not as good and as well thought out as before and you didn't get to sit in your group as no one was there to seat you as before. Staff were bored and not interested. The £16 per person is a rip off, don't bother with the new venue.
