We booked the upstairs room and buffet service for our daughters christening last Sunday. The food was great, the room is lovely and the staff were so helpful and accomodating!

This is a beautiful village pub which has welcoming, helpful, attentive staff as well as a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks for all ages, stunning food and now a fully open, refurbished garden which looks stunning in tonight’s early evening sunshine! Would highly recommend this pub to anyone and everyone!

My husband and I have been to this wonderful pub twice now. The first time it was recommended by a friend and we were so impressed with the awesome friendly staff and the food was excellent. To top it off it was 'Gin Night' - my favorite tipple!

The 2nd time was a few weeks later and again the staff were amazingly friendly, attentive and professional over and over. The food was scrumptious again - no negatives at all..

You must try the rhubarb gin Knickerbocker glory.... hic!!! So lovely and tasty and decadent!

Well done The Butchers Arm's... we'll be back.!!!

My friend and I decided to come down to the pub for dinner on a Friday evening and as soon as we arrived we were greeted by the staff who were very prompt in helping us and were happy to do so. We were able to sit down for a meal which was divine and cooked to perfection for both myself and my friend. I found the atmosphere of the pub to be very welcoming and friendly. The staff were so polite, warming and attentive giving us a 5 star experience. We will definitely be returning and I highly recommend a visit to this pub!

Me and my partner used The Butcher Arms function room to hold our baby shower yesterday and it was fantastic! Perfect sized space with lovely decor and met all of our needs. All of our guests, who had travelled from various places, commented on how nice the pub was inside and out, and how attentive and friendly all the staff were. Would definitely recommend to anyone planning a party or event!

I went for the Fizzy Fish and Chips special which is on Wednesday nights and it was absolutely delicious! A glass of prosecco went down very well with it. A lovely pub serving good food and a very good selection of drinks, just what the village needed.

I was in the pub tonight for a Mother’s Day meal and it was fantastic. Didn’t have to wait long for the food and it all came out as ordered and cooked to perfection. Staff were friendly and efficient. I’m glad that the pub is open again and doing well.

Me, my partner and kids came over for a meal on Saturday evening.

It was very busy so I’m glad I booked.

The wait for the food was about 45 mins so not long considering how busy it was.

I chose the fillet steak (cooked to perfection, high five to the Chef), my partner had he burger which considering he is one of the fussiest people I know, ate every last bit and the kids had the chicken goujons which they loved.



The staff were lovely and very attentive, we felt really welcomed here.





Well done on creating such a wonderful pub.
