This weekend The Butcher’s Dog Wimborne turned two 🐕 🐕 Two years of good times thanks to a whole bunch of great people 🙌
An *awesome* team including @nicholas_horne1990 @watson_enjoi @harriette_a_ @graceep93 @spoppee @jdsnoise A whole bunch of brewers, creatives and tradespeople who have kept us going for the last 24 months. And of course our wonderful customers ☺️

Welcoming the talented 'Kadonnut Manner' to Wimborne for an evening of 'cinematic folk music, raw and emotional, featuring lots of open tunings, hot syncopation and driving rhythms and expanding the country blues form with things borrowed from different folk traditions, 20th century classical music and other inspiring sources.'

😋😋😋Yesssss @odysseybrewco This is the beer we'd drink everyday in this gorgeous weather 🌞🌞Session strength, a classic malt backbone with a punchy tropical hop finish. We're not worthy 🙌

Only one of us made it to #londoncraftbeerfestival this year (you can probably guess who 😆) so the rest of us are feasting on these @lervig hazy pale ales instead. Yummy 😋

What a great place for a decent beer. We stopped off on a bike tour of Dorset micropubs and loved this place. Make sure you visit during the Folk Festival next week. Or anytime you fancy some quality drink...

Well its much better than the tap house.. l had a fantastic mocha porter. And some rock... shame no Cattle Decapitation or Origin... still can't have great beer and extreme metal can we... only at home or in the Brewdog in Camden.. you get great beer and Municipal Waste etc. And the underworld or black heart is only minutes away for your ears to take a pounding.

This pub really is a revelation in the heart of Wimborne, Dorset. Extensive beer list and exceptional carry outs, I'm in love with the place. � The guys running it are all so friendly and knowledgeable, such a great place to hangout with friends whilst trying exceptional ales on tap. Keep up the great work guys, it's the dogs, for sure! ��

Superb range of beers. Really nice feel to this new cosy micro bar. Good selection of beers on keg and cask - pales, a porter, couple of pils on my visit. A very well stocked fridge (Beavertown, Magic Rock, Brew By Numbers, Weird Beard and Westmalle for starters) with reasonably priced off sales. Landlady was charming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about modern beers. Contactless accepted. Will definitely be back.

Super chilled and cosy bar with superb selection of drinks, be it beer, spirits, cider etc. Passionate staff and a wonderful place to be. Will make a beery pilgrimage back soon

I have drunk in a lot of craft beer pubs and this is right up there with the best. Great beer, friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I didn’t think I could love The Butchers Dog any more than I do but my partner just picked up a winning hamper from the East Street Party......Thank you!!

Huge variety of beers. Changes regularly. Beautifully served by the knowledgeable staff.

Great pub. Very friendly locals and lovely Owners. Top list of beers. A fridge and taps to rival anyone, anywhere. If your within distance over the Summer it would be silly to miss this

Fabulous pint of Augustina Helles Bavarian Lager, best pint of lager I have enjoyed this year, although I normally go for real ales, yet this might prove a regular treat! Great pork pie too, friendly service and good music. An enjoyable end to an enjoyable day.

Brilliant Boozer... I dont go to often but when I do its always spectacular. What a range of beers... If you go in and use the funny handshake you might even be able to get hold of the Holy Grail of Beers.

Bloody love this place! Excellent (ever changing) selection of beers, ales, ciders, porters on tap. Something for everyone and superbly sourced common and niche options available. Great people, super friendly staff and a warm enjoyable atmosphere all round. Recommend to all :)

Best place in Dorset for a fine Beer, selection always changing, great double IPA and sour beers, through to Dark stouts and ciders. Great staff, nice ambience, can't beat it.
