The Cannon Boat Run

The Cannon boat run is gearing up to be an action packed day that anyone can enter in any form of powered water craft!
Here's a brief heads up as to what its all about. . .

The first event will be taking place in the rivers north of devils point in Plymouth.

One team member from each team will carry out a draw to determine which point their team will have to go to first, to stop all the teams going to the nearest point first.

Each team will be given a map and punch card on the morning of the event, this map will have twenty points marked on it, with a points value next to each one, the harder it is to get to, the more points its worth, not all points on the map will be accessible at all states of tide to make it more. . . interesting!

Along with the map, each team will be given a list of items they will get points for, if you return with them in your boat at the end of the day.


Each point on the map will contain the following. . .

A unique pin stamp, to stamp your card to prove you have been at that point.

The final stamp will be at the finish checkpoint and will only be active ten minutes either side of the finish time.
anyone returning outside of the twenty minute window will be deducted one point per minute, maximum one hours worth of points deductible.

We are trying to keep rules and instructions to an absolute minimum, to keep the fun to a maximum! ! !

The overall aim of the Cannon boat run is to have fun! and bring people together from all aspects of boating, with any level of experience
