Come down to the Merton Heritage Centre on Saturday 2 November ( 12.30 – 4.30 ) to participate in an upcoming event for Combat Stress who work to help support veterans and their families. The event will feature Age Exchange footage that was produced by and with veterans of conflicts in Northern Ireland, the Falklands, Bosnia, the Gulf Wars and Afghanistan.
Appropriate for 16+ only.

We are looking for volunteers to help us on Mitcham Heritage Day at The Canons. Volunteering will include helping the project team run the stand giving out flyers and information, as well as signing in visitors and asking visitors to sign up to the newsletter. It will also include helping visitors find the Canons in View exhibition and helping our visiting craftsman with his demonstrations and activities.
Volunteering includes a light lunch and snacks, and plenty of breaks. We are looking for help from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm and we appreciate any amount of time you can give.
