The Carlton Shooting Club

The Carlton Shoot is a friendly, small club, run by a member committee, that shoots a 60 bird sporting layout at Brick Kiln Farm - just off the A31, between Four Marks and Alton - on the last Sunday of every month. All are welcome.

The Carlton Shooting Club put on a 60 bird clay pigeon shoot (sporting layout) on the last Sunday of the month at Four Marks in Hampshire.

We shoot on Brick Kiln farm which is accessed via Brick Kiln Lane, under the red brick railway arch on the A31 between Alton and Four Marks.

Arrive from 10h00 ready to commence shooting at 10h30. The shoot normally finishes around 12h00.

As it is a working farm, plastic wads are not allowed incase these become ingested by cattle, so felt /fibre wads only please. Appropriate cartridges can be purchased from us on arrival.

As well as experienced, licenced shotgun holders, we also welcome novices and those who would just like to have a 'try shoot'. The Club can provide both shotguns (12 gauge or 20 gauge) and cartridges for those that do not hold a licence. You will be asked to complete a Section 21 declaration for your attendance at the shoot.

The cost of the shoot is £13 for members and £17 for non-members. Membership is available for an annual fee of £15, plus a one-off joining fee of £5. The membership year runs from November to the following October. We accept payment via cash and cheque only.

At the end of each shoot, scorecards are collected, checked, recorded and distributed by spreadsheet in a monthly email to all on the distribution list. If you would like to be added to the distribution list, please send an email to CarltonShoot@outlook.com

In October we hold our annual High Gun competition. This is open to anyone who has shot with us a minimum of 4 times in the current membership year - but only members can win the prestigious and coveted High Gun trophy. There are medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in classes A, B and C.
