my family and I visited the carpenters arms yesterday afternoon while travelling around the cotswolds, so nice to visit a real country pub, a very warm welcome, especially from the friendliest dog in the world lol, items in a basket, burgers and I have to say the most amazing steak and ale pie � would highly recommend and hope to return one day �

Wow! My son and I went for lunch today as he was recommended you. It was my sons birthday and we were made to feel so welcome. It was quiet, being a Wednesday lunchtime, but we felt we were very welcome and part of the locals!

Fabulous home-cooked pub grub, not at all chain pub food.

The friendly ambience made it even more special, especially his dessert with a candle on his ice-cream. Thank you so much for helping us have a Mum and big son afternoon.

We love The Carpenters Arms and their staff. We have not long moved into the village and those who are regulars as well as those working in the pub have embraced us. I was frightened of moving here and have felt very welcomed.



The food is amazing, always hot, a good amount of choice and the staff are very welcoming, efficient and helpful. I would recommend The Carpenters Arms not just for the good food or drink, but also the good company.

We held my dads wake at the Carpenters Arms yesterday and we can't thank Frankie, Dan and their team enough. The pub was the perfect location, and they accommodated extra people with no problem at all. They couldn't have done any more for us, they played a huge part in giving my dad the send off he deserved & we will always be grateful. Highly recommended!! Thank you again xx

We arrived unannounced at 2.30 on a Sunday and asked for a table. We were seated very quickly, and were pleasantly surprised with the prices. We had two courses of excellent food but unfortunately we're too full to manage a sweet.

The staff were very polite and attentive.

I recommend The Carpenters Arms.

Very friendly atmosphere. Staff very welcoming. Popped in for a lunch today. Not rushed at all. Food presented well, very tasty, excellent value for money. Certainly would go there again.

Stopped here today for some lunch. A lovely pub, gorgeous beer garden and the food was fab! The ladies looked after us and gave us loads of helpful info about the local areas. And Dog friendly! Definitely worth a visit! X

On holiday and came across this lovely pub/restaurant, plenty of parking and we went on a Tuesday evening so was quite quiet, felt very welcome and the food was lovely! Would go back again ��

Lovely country pub. Wide array of gins (we discussed in detail!). Also provided water for the 3 dogs and were very polite and talkative.



Didn’t stop for food but saw somebody else’s, looked yummy!

It’s a five star from the lads & myself. Frankie &Clare did us proud. A good selection of drink and freshly cooked food which went down a treat. Thank you ladies couldn’t have been better.

It was our first time here since it's changed hands and I can certainly say that it was excellent the food was really good and well priced and the staff were really nice, will be going again in the future. 👍🏻

I took my Mum, dad, in-laws, wife and 4 children into the Carpenters Arms today for Mothers day, and once again, what a fantastic meal we all had.The seating I had requested was all ready for our 2pm arrival and the bar staff were as always happy to look after us.The food was perfect as always and the serving staff were brilliant.



A big thank you has to go to Frankie and Dan & all your team for welcoming a large table in on Mothers day and proving such a great mothers day treat for my Mother and Mother-In-Law

Had Sunday lunch here today and we really couldn't fault it! The food was superb - the apricot and goat's cheese veggie option was SO tasty. The chap who took our order was so helpful and friendly. He magicked up a lovely slate of warm bread and Olive oil for an impromptu starter and we devoured it. All other staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to go back next time we are driving through the Cotswolds. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

Great veggie and vegan food. Good sized portions and lovely to go somewhere that has put thought into dietary requirements. Lovely setting too.

The service was excellent the food was good, maybe the garden should be a little more care for but on the whole a very enjoyable lunch
