The Castle Inn

The Castle Inn gin festival is still on Sunday 26th August with canopies covering all the front of the pub we’ve relocated the gin bar and bbq out the front and have bags of room inside including the upstairs !! We’ve got 18 different gins to try, beer from Rebellion brewery and a great bbq with fresh jacket potatoes !! We will also be taking music requests all day !!

Come along this Sunday !!

This was an event very close to my heart after loosing not only a very dear friend, but also my sister in law. What a wonderful way to raise money and awareness, for something that we may need one day. I cannot understand negative reviews for today. I personally would like to thank you all. Today really touched me. Thank you all so very much.

Thank you to Matt and all the staff at The Castle Inn for running a charity breakfast for Cancer Research this morning. You worked your socks off for nothing as the pub was packed to the rafters and helped to raise £554 for a great cause. Thank you for supporting the Charity.

Thank you to Matt and all the staff at The Castle Inn for running a charity breakfast Event for Cancer Research UK this morning. You helped us raise £554 for a great cause. This is the first time they have done a breakfast event and I can honestly say it was one of the best Full English breakfasts I've ever had. Thank you all.

Lovely mothers day lunch with family shame you had no option but to have 3 course meal at £30 staff very attentative. Food 100%. Only 3 choices for our 3 years old grand daughters and all with chips!

Lovely meal yesterday, the landlord and female staff were lovely and very attentive, we even learned the history of the building. A very pretty pub with lovely food!

Had a delicious breakfast at the Castle this morning in aid of cancer research. A great idea to hold a breakfast. Scrummy food and a great atmosphere. Thanks to Becky and Vicky who organised the event and Matt and his team who worked so hard and kept us supplied with cups of tea. My friends and I look forward to the next one!

Enjoyed a superb Full English breakfast at The Castle Inn Hurst this morning as part of the Cancer Research Big Breakfast event. I'm not usually a fan of the "Full English" but this one was spot on - clearly freshly cooked, hot & not remotely greasy. Delish! And great service by the staff too who all gave their time for free to support this fundraising event.

Attended the charity breakfast this morning at The Castle. The staff were as welcoming as ever and it was great to see the local community coming together to support such a worthy cause. Matt, Marco and all of the staff did a great job handling such a large turnout. Well done also to Vicky & Becky for organising. I look forward to the next one x

Amazing charity event this morning held here very busy and staff were great. Often come here with family and friends food always amazing and friendly staff THANKYOU

A fantastic pub, very warm and welcoming. Superb service. Probably the best burger I've ever eaten. Highly recommend.

Service a bit slow at times. Waited a little longer than expected for the kids food, but all in all a good experiences.

Very nice pub. We were outside Morris dancing most of the evening, so can't say too much about the interior, but the staff were friendly. Beer was a bit dear, but I tend to be a Wetherspoons drinker so no surprise there.

Decent burger, but overall I thought the food was average for the price.I was charged a 5 pound service charge which I thought was excessive. Furthermore the drinks prices were over the top!!!
