The last few photos from our recent event. Our main course of home reared pork 3 ways, celeriac and Apple puree, Pomme Anna, cavolo nero and cider jus. Followed by our composed cheese course of harbourne blue mousse, Beignet, pickled and fresh pear, port gel and candied walnut. Finished off with a stunning dessert of pressed cox Apple on puff pastry, Apple sorbet, hazelnut crumb, hazelnut creme patissiere and an Apple crisp. Had so much fun doing this one. Looking forward to the next!

More photos from our event @michaelsuttonscellar last Friday. Mini pork cheek tacos on homemade pork fat tortillas, with red cabbage and apple slaw, avocado puree, sriracha mayo and pickled Apple. Followed by our cured trout dish, then a few shots of our home reared Berkshire/Duroc pork tenderloin wrapped in home cured smoked streaky bacon. Credit to @amsbullock for the photography skills!

Our starter from our latest fine dining event at @michaelsuttonscellar at the beautiful Riversbridge. Chalk stream Trout cured in @dartmouth.gin and preserved elderberries, with remoulade, cucumber and dill. Stay tuned for more photos!

Home cured ham from our home reared pigs! This has taken over a month from start to finish. The pork leg was cured in a cider and Apple juice brine for 32 days, then hung for 24 hours, then cold smoked for 20 hours to get it to this stage. Just needs to be gently boiled and then honey roasted! THIS WEEK IS OUR LAST WEEK! We are sorry to say that our season is ending, and Sunday 28th of this month will be our last day of service until next spring. Thanks to every one of you that came to drink or dine with us, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. If you like what we do, we will be doing a series of fine dining events throughout the winter, our first confirmed is on the 7th of December at @michaelsuttonscellar at the stunning Riversbridge in Stoke Fleming. What more could you ask for fabulous walk down to the Cellar Door from the top carpark with wonderful views over the river Excellent service, yummy cake and great coffee. Well worth a visit ... we shall be back for lunch!

We went for lunch today and we were not disappointed with the quality of the food served today. The Ham Hock Terraine for my starter was delicious as was my wife homemade houmous. For my mains I ate fresh plaice served with cockles and fresh greens and new pototoes. I am always sceptical about English wine but Sharpham's Dart Valley Reserve was absolutely delicious and complimented my lunch wonderfully. I bought two bottles of the wine from the shop afterwards. Certainly worth checking out if you enjoy quality food but booking is essential.

This is a fabulous, destination restaurant. The food was delicious, all locally sourced and complimented by the Sharpham wine. A beautiful setting too with lovely friendly staff. I would highly recommended.

Ate today for a 21st birthday, food was outstanding, the quality of the produce and the sympathy & understanding in every dish we had shows! Amazing setting and the sun shone! The Sharpham 2014 Blanc went down very well but being big fans we knew it would! Would recommend to anyone and is one of our top 5 places to eat at! Well done team ���
