Wow last min dicission for tea, and certainly will be returning, southernfried chicken burger, bun was fresh and warm, chicken succulent infact i go as far to say beautiful, great value for money, i definitely will be making it my new regular! Well done guys

We booked the function room for a 21st birthday �, room was beautifully decorated & the service from all the staff was amazing �, thank you to Emma for dealing with all the changes I had to make to the food � & thank you to Dean for our amazing steaks ��

Just thrown my nannas 70th party / meal there this weekend staff were really helpful from the second we got there especially Tony who was in charge that night he helped us set up set up get sorted and nothing was too much trouble for him - so grateful for his help and a couple of certain bar staff although I didn’t get their names . they also came to check on us regularly made sure we were ok and made an effort to come and speak to us and have a laugh . The night went so smoothly and the birthday girl loved it ! Once again thank you so much ! :)

I recently had a meal with my family and friends it was all served really quick and all came out at the same time. Very nice food. Well done centenary staff. Would definatly recommend.

Great food,lovely staff the blonde waitress is great always chats to the kids.its a big place to eat you don’t feel like the tables are on top of each other and it’s very relaxed.prices are reasonable and food always presented well.been a few times now and it’s a firm favourite for us.

Your food is very good and good value for money, but you need to concentrate on cleanliness especially in your toilets the last few times I have been in I have to ask for toilet roll which I feel unacceptable when your toilet is supposed to be checked regularly.

Took my mam for tea 9th October 2017 and service was quick, polite and friendly bar staff and waiter staff, they made an effort to see if food was fine and if we needed any thing else, I had mega Gammon steak, egg, Peas, mushrooms, chips and onion rings and all were hot and tasty

Mam had scampi and chips with Peas and hers was equally hot and tasty.

Can't fault the place, would like to thank the whole staff from waiters, chef and bar staff for the work they do.

The food was lovely good friendly staff good with kids. I had the south carolina came red hot only thing missing was my onion rings but otherwise couldn't fault the food we went as a family and everyone enjoyed there meals.

Really nice meals chips weren't red hot but we're eatable. My only complaint about this pub is getting served for drinks. You have to join a food queue even if you only want drinks. A few people mentioned it. There should be someone just serving drinks.

I had my wife's 70 th there on a Friday night with over a dozen family members ! We were told we would be together in the main room , but on arrival we found it full and noisy as it was going on 7 !! However they opened another room for us and got us all together !! The service was quick , the food I had was nice and I heard no complaints from our guests !! We eat here regular and have never had to complain !! Just a bit rowdy on a Friday night !!

Starter was fine till i had to wait over an hour for the main. Got a tuna melt and it was cold too so i went back to the bar and the chef... wow what an attitude he had on him all because my food was cold. Had no issue with the service until he started running his mouth. Telling me HOT TUNA...

Yeh mate thats why its called a tuna melt. The cheese is supposed to be hot and melts. Service was fine but that chef. No need for his attitude

Kitchen staff need a kick up the arse and told to read what’s been ordered! New Yorker steak served without the bacon, onion rings, mushroom and sauce. Ask for no mayo on burger bun and came with mayo. And cook the food - fajitas do not come with raw onions and peppers, and the steak should be cooked in the seasoning, not powder sprinkled on it. So disappointing.

Very disappointed with our visit today , food was ok but the poor waitress who was running around alone had a lot deal with . She wants praising as she had so many complaints about the food , wrong orders etc she took it in her stride and was patient and calm and felt with all the customers with manners . The food was very poor a little side salad on all dishes wouldn't go a miss . I ordered hunters chicken no onions , came but looked like afew chips and a tiny bit of chicken , looked sad . I wouldn't pay that price again for that I would rather stay home . It's not good sitting in a family pub watching people complain . The couple next to us had been given a frozen sweet corn ! I think the chef needs more help in the kitchen .

The Centenary Pub so today I visited your pub early afternoon. I was with my older brother who is 32 may I add to be told we were not allowed to be on a licensed premises without ID ? I got asked for ID for a coke and a coffee? As neither of us where drinking alcohol and both over the age of 18 with toddlers running around can someone please clarify why two ADULTS where refused a coffee and a coke? �

Ordered 2 mixed grills - no steak on either. Was brought out on second plate was very chewy and cold. Sausages were over cooked one side and not even touched the grill the other side.

Another steak meal. Ordered 10oz medium.- was still cold and bloody. Told waiter he just said sorry and carried on clearing tables. Will not be back again.

Had fish chips and mushy peas the peas tasted like water no taste in them at all and they were cold the fish was like water no taste in it and the chips were cold too took them back to complain they took them and changed only the chips bought them back out and then the fish was cold would not eat here again disgusting horrible food yuk

Got the classic mixed grill, best thing about it was the flat mushroom. Steak tasted like chalk. Sausages burnt on one side, but cold in the centre. Chicken breast was dry & shrivelled up... a bit like whole meal really. Thats 2 bad meals in a row I have now had there. Think I'll crack open a pot noodle in future�

Food was atrocious. Both meals were freezing Cold, no Monterey Jack cheese on a ‘Monterey jack cheese & chicken burger. Not even busy so no excuse for cold food � won’t be returning. On the plus side staff were pleasant.

Came into the pub with my wife for lunch order took a while to come to the table. Wrong meal given twice,burnt,cold and not appealing at all would not be eating here again !!!!
