About The Charity Players
We are an amateur dramatics group plus choir, based in central Northampton, staging up to three productions, as well as a Murder Mystery and choir concert nights throughout the year. We rehearse /perform at the two St Alban's Church Halls in Broadmead Ave.
The Charity Players Description
We are a community based non-profit amateur theatre group that donates all ticket proceeds to a local Northampton based charity each year, giving away up to around £4, 000.
As of 2018 we are proud to announce our new name as The Charity Players, reverting back to our original name from 25 years ago.
So far we have raised around £150, 000. 00 over those past 25 years and it has been given away to countless local charities! So for 2018 we are celebrating our special 25th Anniversary in August.
Sandie Gasson is the lady and chairman who heads up this amazing organisation and anyone wishing to get on board either helping out backstage with set build or wishes to donate towards our cause or is interested in having their business advertised in our production leaflets and online. . . please message us here and she will get back to you soon!
