It’s gone hamper crazy 🤪

Don’t forget tonight is our first late night Thursday, the mulled wine will be on, so If you fancy popping in on your way home from work we will be open till 7pm 🎄 and even better it’s not only us several of our fellow traders will be including Lichfield Garden Centre if you haven’t got your Christmas tree, pick yours before they all go

And so it begins all civilised

We are not doing an everyday advert but random ones so on the 4th day we have these 2 lovely Fine Cheeses only £2.50 each (just for today) 😄

Mary from Staffordshire cheese popped in with our order this weekend 😄 Staffordshire Cheese Buxton Blue and Dovedale Blue 😋

IF YOU MISSED OUT ON YESTERDAYS EVENT DONT WORRY WE HAVE ANOTHER 😄 How exciting we have Elsa & Anna coming to visit and they are bringing along some of their friends. Follow the map from (starting point) Lichfield Garden Centre all the way round to The Potting Shed meeting friends on route to meet Elsa & Anna 😍 Cost is £7.50 per child siblings £5, children will collect sweets from characters around the centre. Booking is essential as time slots will be allocated, bookings are only secure once payment is made, which can be done via bacs, over the phone or in person. We will also have Katie Pixie Dust face painting with us on both dates and will only be charging £1.50pp (in with the minion) 😄

What a fab day Curborough Countryside Centre today these guys were legends, including Mrs Wishes & @pixie dust party face-painter and thank you Lichfield Garden Centre & Phoenix Interiors for housing some of our characters. Hope you all had fun 😄 and got lots of pics

We went to a cheese and gin tasting evening. I didn’t think I really liked cheese, but turns out I was wrong! British cheese and gins, which is great to support, gorgeous shop and great fun hosts. Highly recommend for a fun and different evening. Leave the car at home!

This is a great place supporting British produce. Attended the gin infused prosecco evening last night. Louise is a great host. Had a fabulous evening and made new friends. Highly recommended ���

The staff here are so knowledgeable about all of the products available, from the makers of individual items, to the the flavours, whether it be the cheese, gin, ale or condiments.

On a recent visit, my mother in law chose a ‘birthday gin’ from a huge selection - recommended after being asked the types she enjoys drinking (and a taster or two �).

As a non-gin drinker myself - I never fail to enjoy the suggested flavours with the alternative to tonic mixers (I’m being converted �) and love the choice of chutneys and dressings.

The ales on offer mean it’s a worthwhile visit for the men in our lives too. Can’t recommend enough, and well worth a visit. We’ll be back for more very soon (I’m running out of Tigg’s pepper & mustard �)

Thanks Louise for a fantastic evening on Saturday. We thoroughly enjoyed tasting all the cheeses and gins that you selected. What an eye opener, so many different varieties to try. I can see we're going to become regulars at this rate! Looking forward to visiting again on Sunday for a nice Masons gin and tonic!

Louise and her team do a wonderful job, the shop is a true Aladdin’s cave of wonderful goodies. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, I’ve had hampers made and sampled lots of the wonderful cheeses and gins on offer, but there is so much more...

Just had the best night at a house party with these guys. Louise was such a lovely lady and all the drinks were amazing. Will be booking with them again �� ��

If you love cheese and booze then you'll love this place. They have a fabulous range of cheese, gin, vodka and beers. Louise, the owner, is very friendly and informative. We have been going ever since she opened and there is always something new to try. I would highly recommend going to one of her cheese and ale/gin tasting nights. You get to try an extensive range of cheeses and a variety of alcoholic drinks. This is without doubt the best specialist cheese shop around.

I love popping in to see Louise and her amazing selection of gins, cheeses and ales. Every time I pop in there is always a new gin in that I have never heard of. What I admire most about Louise is she remembers exactly the types of gins I enjoy most. Louise's tasting evenings and gin parties are great too, ideal to try different gins with friends. I have had a couple of hampers made up of gin and cheese, ideal gifts for Christmas and birthdays. Keep up the good work!!!

I have just collected a hamper from the cheese, gin and ale barn and it is amazing! I have been getting hampers from here for the past 4 years and we have always been super impressed with them. Fantastic service, produce and staff are very friendly and approachable.

I would totally recommend them to people, you won’t be disappointed.

I attended one of Lou’s Gin parties last night. Now, I like a G&T and thought that was it. Lou was Fantastic, explaining different uses and garnishes and flavours. Then as the evening progressed she did a sterling job in keeping us entertained and merry! (See photos)

I attended a cheese & gin tasting evening last week and it was fabulous! Louise is extremely knowledgeable and great fun, and the evening was brilliant. The shop is packed with amazing products, and I highly recommend a visit!

First visit and bought lovely cheeses, gin balls and crackers. Nice shop, will visit again!

Finally got round to writing a review for this amazing place. Louise is fantastic!!! After finding this place 2 years ago we have been getting cheese and pork pies from her ever since. We loved it soo much we asked her to make us a Wedding Cheese cake and a Cake of Pork Pies and Chutneys for our Guests. Everyone commented on how great it was. Lou is really knowledgeable and really knows her stuff. Can't recommend this place enough!! Fabulous!!!

Everything I have bought from Louise at the Cheese and Ale barn has been amazing! I've bought lots of gifts so far and everyone had been so happy with them. From a cheese making kit, to gin and a hip flask and hampers of goodies. We also purchased two of the lunchboxes and took them around the courtyard grounds to enjoy. They were delicious! Thank you so much. Excellent, friendly, helpful service. We are desperate to get to one of your cheese and gin evenings! One day we'll be able to get a babysitter on the right night and make it :-D

Brilliant night with Lichfield ladies tangles for a gin and cheese tasting session. Louise was so knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Everything was just perfect. We all came away feeling very satisfied, slightly tiddly, but I'm pleased to report, no hangovers this morning although the wallets are somewhat lighter! Clearly we were drinking quality products, and the cheese was amazing too! Will definitely return, both as a client, and for more events. Thank you Louise - a superb evening.

An excellent gin tasting night run by Louise! My friend Andrea hosted it at her house and it was superb- brilliant to taste lots of different gins in the comfort and relaxed atmosphere of home! Louise knows her gins and worked hard to keep us all 'topped up'. I would highly recommend one of Louise's gin tasting nights without hesitation! When is the next one?
