The Chequers is operated by Mark and Sandra Duggan who also operate the Three Tuns in Henley on Thames. The Chequers itself is a stunning country pub in the heart of the picturesque and tranquil Oxfordshire village of Berrick Salome just outside Benson and minutes off the A4074 & B4009. A pub we believe with huge potential with roaring log burners, bar and dining areas and a private dining space. The property also has a spacious garden complete with enclosed children's swings and slide, a table tennis table and Giant Jenga so for the summer months it offers something for everyone. There is the opportunity for it to be a fabulous place to host a special occasion or event such as a parties, christenings or even a wedding . . .
