Morning everybody.
We sincerely apologise but we have had a major gas leak at the Tavern that means we have had to close the pub for food for today.
We will hopefully be back up and running soon but please watch the page for updates as we may end up closed for several days. We hope this isn't the case though.

So the next part of the competition is we would like the 5 finalists to pop in to the Tavern and visit our team, we need to see they can conduct themselves in a manner befitting of royalty 😁😁👑👑
We will then get a selfie with all the Finalists and a staff member which will be put on our Page and we will see who wins from there 😁

The team at the Tavern are a bit sad today as we learnt our King is leaving us to go live in Yorkshire :( Squire has had quite a presence here at the Tavern but it does however mean that we need an Heir to his Throne 👑👑

Thank you everyone for the brilliant weekend we had at the Tavern it was great to see the sun out and so many smiling faces. With it being so busy we are now looking to fill a few more vacancies -
Part Time Front of House Service Staff - We do require someone with experience in hospitality and who is a naturally smiley and friendly person. Energetic and not afraid to get stuck in :)
Part Time Front of House/Bar - Again experience is essential as the person needs to know how... to work the bar efficiently during busy periods and an understanding of the cellar would be beneficial.
Part Time Line Chef - Experience is essential and the person needs to be able to handle a busy kitchen and work as part of a small team.

Our Online Booking system is now up and running 😁 just head to our website to book your table.
There are limits on the size of the party when booking online so we are still taking bookings by phone as well :)
This weekend was very busy for us so we now recommend booking for tables during the weekend as we would not want to disappoint anyone.
