We were very busy tonight, given it was a Tuesday. Thank you to all the customers that were patient with the wait, we really appreciate your co-operation!

Our new gin and tonic menu is dead good. It’s probably got some of the best Gins you’ve ever tasted. Don’t take our word for it though....

Visited for the weekend and ended up eating here on both nights! The atmosphere and staff are lovely. The food is absolutely stunning - so much flavour!! Would highly recommend!

The food is freshly cooked so you have a little wait but is always delicious & worth the wait �My steak was off the £8.99 option, with jacket potato instead of chips, with spinach sauce as extra, excellent value for money & service. It's our favourite place for a meal & catch up . Definitely going back ��

The Sunday roast was amazing...possibly the best roast potatoes ever...even my wife agreed and hers are very very good.

Went here with Friends for Sunday Lunch. Good value for money. The Beef was delicious. Waiting on Staff couldn't do enough for you. Would definitely go back.

Great food today, but so slow coming. 30 minutes for pate starters, and 78 minutes for mains! As we left a waitress told me that they were short staffed, so maybe that was why we had a long wait. To be fair, we have been there before and the food and service were fine. We will go again.

After my husband and I had a lovely day in Wales we had Sunday Lunch here. We had the lamb which was delicious.

I went yesterday with a party of about 15. Very impressed with the ambience. Very smart place. The food was gorgeous and very professional

What let it down was the delay in bringing the meals to us. An hour was too long. The children had theirs 20 mins before the adults. Should have been the same time. Saw your reviews, I have a feeling you guys were just having a bad day? Staff shortage?

After having enjoyed a previous visit a few years ago, I was certainly disappointed to see that it has unfortunately gone "down hill". I rarely leave reviews online, but feel that some constructive criticism is required. The food was mediocre, but that was the least of the concerns. What is lacking is the attention and professionalism from the Staff. Even when we went over to be seated the staff couldn't be bothered to see us to our table, commenting "do you want to do it?" to her colleague - who looked like she really didn't want to do it either. A great start.

There was no drinks menu to hand as a "new one was being printed" - but Staff did not know the prices or have any knowledge of the wines on offer. We had to go up to the bar a few times, to ask for extra drinks and to also ask for the bill. Each time this was met with the view of numerous staff on their phones behind the bar.

We were a table of 4 dining, during the duration of our meal there was only 2 other tables of 2 having food, therefore the restaurant was extremely quiet so there was really no excuse for the lack of attention.

I may also like to add that there was also a "committee" meeting in of mainly elderly customers, who were struggling up and down the steps with their drinks as no one was attending to their tables either.

There was no baby changing facilities for our baby, so we had to rush the evening so that we could go home to change her.

The other diners we were with also felt the same, which put a huge dampener on what should have been a lovely evening celebrating with friends.

Such poor service, we didn't even order! Arrived and asked for a table for 4, were sat at a table and told it'd be 10 minutes before our food order could be taken. No problem, it's 7.30 on a Friday evening. After 15 minutes we were asked to move tables with no apology, when we sat back down we were ignored for a further 10 minutes. My husband went to the bar to pay for our drinks as we had decided to leave, the server who had sat us down didn't even look up at him! Disgusting service, so disappointed!

If there was an option for no stars, I would’ve selected it. Not impressed and would certainly never recommend!

Disappointing first visit. No changing facilities for our daughter. We were constantly up at the bar asking to order and pay and basically gain acknowledgment. Staff too busy on mobile phones behind the bar. Food was below average. Would not visit again. Also worth mentioning that the restaurant was extremely quiet and typically in a busy atmosphere this could be possibly acceptable, however this was not the case.
