An up market hotel with a Brasserie serving daily specials and a la carte menu. Professional staff, beautiful surroundings and definitely recommend for a treat. A little pricey.

An excellent experience! Extremely attentive and polite staff that can't do enough for you, My room was spotless and I was upgraded when I arrived as well as all my rooms requests were granted which is always a great start to a stay at any hotel. The hotel itself is perfectly located and it's just purely beautiful and well kept. Valet parking is handy extra that most city centre hotels can't achieve so I feel it definitely deserves 5*s, I will be returning soon.

We have had the tasting menu at the Simon Radley restaurant multiple times and it is always amazing. It is a different menu everytime we go and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

The Chester Grosvenor is a gem in the heart of Chester. If you are thinking of staying and are not already a member of SLH (small leading hotels of the world), as you will be upgraded on your first visit. Like Chester itself the Grosvenor embraces it's history with subtle modern enhancement​s all around. We enjoyed dinner at the Simon Radley Restaurant, we would recommend trying the tasting menu... With this menu try to guess what the course will be if you guess correctly, well done as we could not!

My partner booked a room here for my birthday, we ate in the Simon Radley restaurant and I also had a treatment in the spa. Everything about this hotel is amazing, they really do have it right. The spa is one of the nicest I have been to and I've been to some lovely spas all over the world. We had Simon Radley's taster menu. All the staff were excellent and very attentive and we even got to meet the lovely Simon Radley himself. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. It's a perfect city centre location with a superior elegant atmosphere and I can't recommend this place enough.
