Happy days at The Chilterns View Lodges! Oxfordshire

We thoroughly enjoyed an all-too-brief stay in this most wonderful location. So often places promise romantic seclusion, but the Safari Lodge truly delivers it. You instantly feel the ambience the name implies, yet with more than a hint of luxurious sophistication to combine the feel of wilderness with rustic though nonetheless classy elegance. We were, admittedly, lost in our own romantic bubble but if you're looking to enjoy quality time together with someone special, I c...an think of nowhere better in Britain that is so easily accessible yet a little private world of your own. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the knowledge that, in the unlikely event of needing anything, we had only to ask. However, everything you could possibly want was provided, from bathrobes to torches. Being a very warm day meant we did not need to enjoy the log burner though I can imagine that would add a special touch of its own too as a golden late autumnal evening ebbs away - an experience the Lodge would make amazing. Watching the countryside come to life in the early hours of a summer morning from the lovely hot tub was truly magical, as was watching the previous day we had shared draw to a close from it. A chilled glass of bubbles, immersed in warm bubbles, whilst enveloped in our own bubble. Simply perfect. Your response
